As a ford dealer tech. It’s a great item to have on the workbench. I unfortunately broke mine after dropping it but will be buying again. Lovely product.

This is exactly what I was looking for. The bayonet attachment on the bottom of the funnel locks into the mating bayonet on the engine filler port perfectly, with an O-ring seal at the port, which means you can just turn a quart bottle of oil upside down and set in the funnel and oil goes nowhere except into the engine like it should. No more holding a wiggly funnel while trying not to pour the oil too fast and get it all over the engine. Now I can go do something else while each bottle of liquid gold drains every drop. Great buy!

I recommend if you have a GM car. This funnel works perfect on my Cadillac and Chevy.

While this does seem to be well made and sturdy, it does not fit on my 2007.5 LMM Duramax. It might fit other GM products. Product returned.

So, I have a 2020 Ford Expedition with the 3.5L EcoBoost gasoline engine. I do my own oil changes and wanted an easier funnel so I ordered this one. Just used it for the first time and figured I would review. The learning curve was that the funnel tightens onto the oil inlet in reverse (turn to the left) instead of the obvious turn to the right. Inspecting the "thread" confirmed it. I did a double take at first after it didn't seem to go on well turning to the right (clockwise). Anyway.... the funnel comes in 2 pieces. The blue funnel has finer plastic threads and doesn't tighten well to the clear cylinder portion. If you tighten a little too much it jumps a thread - I figured it was going to leak on me. But it didn't... because the throat of the funnel/cylinder is large enough that a quart of oil goes in VERY quickly which is nice. So, no fluid was in the funnel high enough to reach the threads at the bottom of the blue part. So, it worked fine. For the price I think I would have purchased a different one but it does the job.

I ended up returning it, but it did not have a positive lock on my 14+ GM vehicles. It "screws in" but then you can pull it straight back out. So I was not confident that it would not leak oil when I was filling my engine. The whole point of a locking funnel is to prevent leaks, so this get a 2 star from me.That being said, it is well made and feels good, just does not work for my purposes.

I have a Corvette Z06 2019 and even if I can screw the funnel, the threads are not precise enough and the funnel turns on itself, which makes it difficult to hold in place. Bad manufacturing.
