Funny story. My German shepherd has a NEED to dig up BIG rocks and plays with them all day long. I bought these for him to chew on - play with- but don't let your kids throw them at the dog for catch. They are croquet balls. Heavy and hard. Good dog toy

Pleasantly surprised that these are solid wood. A few of our old balls had mostly lost their color. These are bright and can take a mallet.

They are a little smaller than original set theses are plastic like not compost ,but will hold up better all said great value and I would recommend

We had a croquet set and one of the balls cracked. After a failed repair, I ordered these as replacements. They work just fine and I didn't have to buy a new croquet set.
