I really like this heater it's adjustable it fits in many positions, the temperature is easy to adjust,it is a great price! and is durable. Works well for aquatic fish and reptiles.

Takes a long time to get up to temp after first installation. For a couple of hours, the temp on the cord registered 10 degrees difference between the thermometer in my tank. Seems to have evened out but if it seems to start messing up I'll report back.

Using this to keep water in a 5-gal bucket (water fountain for the birds, deer, etc.) from freezing. Wrapped the control module in plastic to keep it dry and put the heating element in the water. So far, so good. Even in 20 F weather, it keeps the water 54 F. Deer, birds, squarrels, racoon and opossum all come daily for a drink of clean water.

Heater thermostat didn't work from the start, not reading the correct temperature in the tank. Could just be one bad apple in a bunch, but I went with another brand.

Switch all my tanks have them on 75 gallon 100 gallon and my 55 gallon they woke nd keep temp where it set

Seems to work great but reads the water temp as 5-7 degrees above what the actual water temp is.
