use these in front of my house charcoal and they are great. 1 Micron will reduce some forever chemicals. My second stage is also 1 micron charcoal as is my third stage.Cheap man's filtration.

We use at our cabin. Water isn't the greatest and these filters really help to filter out the particles. We don't drink that water but use it for washing etc. I buy mant of these and price is reasonable

I have very fine sand in my water. These filters take out a lot of sand but the real fine stuff gets through.I've used PurePlus 1 um carbon filters and while they plug up in about a week, they seem to filter everything.These filters never plug up but they do catch a lot of sand. They perform exactly like 5 um filters I've purchased before.

I have to change these every 3 to 5 weeks. Prodobably should be changed even before that. The water here is terrible and these help significantly

Aunque son un poco más largos que los estandart de rotoplas, lo único que tuvimos que hacer fue cortarlos un poquito más largos que los rotoplas, asà en el momento de ponerlos en los conos receptores, encajaron a presión, porque los rotoplas poseen en la parte superior e inferior un hule para que encajen en el cono, pero éstos de rotoplas al ser de papel no filtran lo suficiente, en cambio éstos Purenex de 1 micra como no tienen ningún hule en la parte superior e inferior al cortarlos un poquito más largos que los rotoplas se presiona la fibra con las arandelas de la tapa superior y del enbase inferior generando un anillo de sello para que todo el filtro funcione, una bacteria tiene un tamaño de .5 micras, asà que este filtro casi detiene las bacterias.
