I like strips for their ease of use, and I really like these because they measure CYA/Conditioner. I have been impressed with the accuracy, though they are not as on-point as liquid reagents. In general, though, they are "close enough," and they certainly are fast.I have used the app only a couple times. It works remarkably well, though it takes a while sometimes to get a good photo of the strip and I really haven't yet figured out why it sometimes works and sometimes does not. When. it does work, it's kind of cool. I'll be trying to perfect the technique.I've seen comparisons with much more expensive kits, and while the other kits are more accurate as far as knowing the exact level of various thing measured, these proved to be consistent and as accurate as the range can be. In my use they are very consistent and the items that duplicate my other test kit (total chlorine, free chlorine, PH, etc.) are almost spot on -- again within the relatively wide range each color splotch represents -- with that kit. The chart is easy to read.

The app was steering me wrong. Match the colors manually. Seems pretty accurate when you use your eyes and not the app picture thing.

Test strips in general are not the most accurate. But if you’re gonna use them, these are the best there is.

I’m giving the test strips one star because they work. However, if you’re buying Aquacheck for the app camera capture to use a test strip and use camera to tell you what to do (like I was), forget it. The app does not work. Apparently they made changes to the app and it does not work anymore. Literally 15+ tries to auto capture the strip and not one try worked. Read the recent online app reviews and they will tell you the same thing. Skip these and get another brand of strips if you want an app with camera capture and guided instructions. Until the app manufacturer fixes this app, I can NOT recommend these strips unless you want a purely manual test experience. The in app camera experience will not take an in-focus picture that works AND the mere challenge of aligning the top square and bottom square perfectly to take the “ideal†photo is just not possible. Skip the pain, extra money and look elsewhere.

Best test strips. They now come with an app to read them but it won’t load. U don’t need an app because these are very easy to read.

These come with a booklet and its a really nice 24 page book which is a complete guide to pool and hot tub chemicals. It explaines in great detail (but easy to understand) the purpose of each chemical and how rhey each work together, why and how to keep them at the proper levels and there are many charts for the calculations so you don’t have to do the math. This is a book that the pool & hot tub sale people should provide when you buy a pool or hot tub but if they did you wouldn’t be so dependant on them for chemical help and sales...thank you AquaChek!

I use the aquachek app, scan the test strip and presto! I get all the results and just need to tweak my chemicals.

I wouldn’t bother. They are inaccurate and the app is pointless unless you input data manually. Purchased two, sent two back.

Don't bother if you are using Android, the app is terrible, sometimes it takes 4 strips to even get a capture, or you just give up. I also have an iPhone, works almost perfectly on that.
