I have used the AquaChek Test Strips with the AquaCheck monitor devise for about 8 years and find the unit accurate based on the clearness of the pool water based on the AquaCheck readings. The unit is well worth the $$ as long as you take care of the unit and store without the batteries during the winter months.The test strips are competitively priced Amazon and arrive in 1 or 2 days for Prime customers. The strips and unit are not always sold or supplies on-hand at the local pool dealers or retail, but are always available on Amazon. If you want an easy to use accurate pool chemical tester, this one is recommended.

I've been using these test strips for quick checks for years and have had ZERO issues with them. I use them in my pool and hot tub. I do use a digital tool to read the strips. I use a much more detailed testing system IF I have any issues. for daily quick checks.. These work fine for me.NOTE: Expiration date is only about 6 months after you get them. So buy accordingly .

These strips along with the blue AquaChek digital reader are a practical testing solution that works reasonably well. Practical because it's pretty easy to use and fairly low up front cost vs other options like fancy smart devices. Of course the test strips are the real long term cost! The strips work but the issue is water chemicals are not always evenly distributed in pool water so you need to take multiple samples from different areas and find a mid-point from test results (the samples can have wide variances). So a pack of 100 strips may only last 30ish sessions if you test 3 samples per session. Some of the strips could be bad/damaged because I see nonsense results sometimes. But that could be user error too, the device does take some practice and getting used to. One you get the hang of it, the system works reasonably well. I'm estimating the cost per test session to be about $1 in 2023 factoring in 3 strips plus battery and eventual device replacement. It also takes about 5 mins time.

These strips go with the same brand reader. Buying these strips might be a bit more costly, but it makes your life so much easier! You insert it into the reader and turn it on. Take your sample and the reader will tell you if it's in range or what's needed. You can't interchange the test strips, so you do need to buy this kind, but it's well worth it for people like me who are intimidated by all the chemicals and testing that's needed.

Da ich nur dieses Testgerät besitze verlasse ich mich auch darauf. Hat bisherimmer geklappt mit dem klaren Wasser. Leider immer nur 24 Monate haltbar von daher braucht man kein Doppelpack zu holen um zu sparen denn die wirft man nur weg weil dann wirklich unterschiedlich gemessen wird. Das Gerät ist zwar etwas teurer aber es ist einfach zu bedienen und die Teststreifen sind für 50 Stück bezahlbar
