Game changer. I've been through a few different types of these. All either broke quickly, came broken or just plain old didn't work. I LOVE THIS THING! You can manually close or open the gate for fine, medium or wide open. This think is low tech and works perfectly. Nice job to whomever invented this thing.

I got this to keep in my box outside for those snowy and icy days when I have to put slat down and this is perfect to fill up and sprinkle down my walkway without have to lug the big bag around. It’s very sturdy and like the different hole pours options.

This ice salt scoop with holes works great for spreading salt efficiently. I am a former hand pelter of ice salt and decided to reform my ways. The durable material holds up well in cold weather, and the perforated design helps remove excess salt, reducing waste. The handle is comfortable to grip, even with gloves on.The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that I wish the cover snapped on a bit more securely. Additionally, the salt I used could not be filtered through several of the holes. I am not blaming the product for this but, one must consider is average sized ice salt is useable with this.
