I purchased this 2X shower filter cartridges because I needed a new one in order to filter out the chemicals, chlorine, fluoride, substances, mercury, lead from the shower head and I don't want any of those things making contact with my physical body. The 15-Stage filter softens water, removes contaminants, irritants, heavy metals. It actually promotes healthy skin, hair, and nails with stronger filtration. The easy part is that it is convenient to install and there are no tools or accessories required. Honestly, their customer service has been the best. I was having issues when I first installed this in my apartment about 2 years ago. It was easy to install, but the plumbing and pressure in the apartment building was causing all sorts of issues, causing the filter cartridge to rupture at the threaded female end where the male piping came from the wall. Turns out it was all my building, as the plumbers had to come and replace the shower cartridges for both my downstairs neighbors and myself, and replace piping, and then it worked perfectly. But up until that was discovered, they sent me FOUR replacement showerheads and we worked together to determine through trial and error what was happening, and I cannot stress how wonderful they were.That being said, the actual product is a must have, as I have really sensitive skin and naturally wavy/curly hair, and have always lived in places that had naturally soft water or had filtration systems installed. The hard water in this building destroyed my appearance within one week, no lie. I was miserable with blotchy and irritated skin, frizzy hair that was somehow greasy and dry at the same time and I had to now buy hair and skin products to combat it, that I’d never needed before. I just randomly googled to see if a showerhead filter existed as my building didn’t have individual water supply valves to each unit so I could install a whole home filter, and after I did some comparisons I settled on this one, and I have told everyone I know who lives in apartments or can’t afford a whole home filtration system to buy this. I have even let my friends take a shower, just to see the difference, and not only does my hair and skin look and feel great, I even have outstanding water pressure now, after having a paltry dribble with the original showerhead. It may be a tad pricy, but I saved that much if not more from ditching the clarifying shampoos and other products. Now I can wash my hair maybe 2-3 times a week, and it looks flawless, naturally. Maybe I’m born with it, or maybe it’s….

It has nothing like what is described in the packing details the inside is just filled with black, brown, blue and white balls. There is now other filter as described "20 stage filtration process"... DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
