Purchased this heater for my Fluval 45 liter Edge tank. It fits nicely in the pump chamber in back, so it’s not obtrusive. It would be easy enough to conceal if you had to put it in the main body of the aquarium=m, though. Easy to set, accurate and reliable. I like that it has both its own digital thermometer and a setting indicator readout. Cord length is generous, so routing wasn’t a problem. A well-thought-out product.

So far so good. I’ve had it in my aquarium approximately 1 month and it appears to be working great. I love the feature that it a thermometer and heater in one function.

I bought 2 (50w) for 40 gal breeder. One heater couldn't keep consistent temp(probably because it died). These are working well at keeping consistent temp @78â°

I did not like this heater but it works fine. I think it needs water flow to heat the whole tank. I don't have a water mover other than the air stone.

I am amazed at the quality of this little heater.

Fits perfectly in my 3 gal quarantine tank. The build is sturdy and of good quality. The only annoying thing is how close the control/thermostat is to the plug. It's impressive enough, that I plan on buying the 50w for my 10 gallon tank to replace the ugly bulky heater.

I was setting up 3x new shrimp tanks and these heaters caught my eye due to the compact nature of the heater along with the dual display containing both the thermostat and the current temperature. When I received the three, I set up the tanks (all three were set up side-by-side using the same exact materials within). I set all three to heat to 73 degrees. Almost immediately after set-up, two read 73, but the last one read 78. I own an instant-read thermometer that I use for cooking that I used to confirm what I already knew: that one was a dud and the temp of the water was 73ish degrees.Since I have Prime, it wasn't a big deal as I just exchanged it. When I received the replacement, it was also a dud reading 76-78. No wanting to give up since the other two seemed to be working and because I liked the compact design, I had Amazon replace it again. It all seemed well and fine until last week when one of the two original heaters started reading 80 degrees. I KNOW for a fact it was a dud because I happened to be in the room when the temperature literally rose from 73 to 80 within 2 minutes time.I really can't recommend these heaters as they are remarkably inconsistent/faulty. I hope this review helps someone out there steer clear of these things.

You can see what your tank temp is at and what it is set at with this heater. Highly recommend
