It is a very simple product that works.. The fact that you get two is a bonus.. this allows me to spot feed my corals and my fish without getting my hands in tank.. A bonus was the ability to maneuver. The wand in through my rocks did allow me to remove any uneaten food as well as shoot streams of water in tight places. I would say if you have a fish aquarium this is definitely a product that you will find useful in many ways…

This product works well I like the dial feature. But the way it is constructed both were broken on the tops. That did not affect the function.and the way the plastic insert sticks in to the suction mechanism is flimsy at best. But u get what u pay for.

I honestly think this thing is great. I recommend it to the other fish tank nerds I know as one of the top tools I've bought. It's very easy to control how much comes out, where it goes, and even suck things back up. The little roller for controlling the piston, which then controls the water going in or out works great.I have used basic basters, the fancy super long basters, and even bought the two little fishies contraption. This is the only one I use now because it's easy to use and accurate.And then above all that it's cheap. 2 for $20.I personally never use it with the rubber tip on, since I don't ever need that much accuracy, and if I did I'd just hold the feeder over the coral or whatever and let the food come out.

First of all, how does something like this arrive with absolutely no instructions for how to assemble or to use? Mine was also missing the rubber tips that are visible in the listing. I had to read another buyers review just to try and assemble it correctly to where the tube would not fall out of the handle before or during feeding. On top of that when you go to put it into the water, the food just drains out into the water, and there’s no way to control it because the suction isn’t strong enough. terrible product! Smh.

It works, my fish is able to feed, but it definitely took some trial and error to figure out exactly what I needed to do. In order to use this product, I have a bowl dedicated to pouring the portion of food for my pleco. I, then, take the tube and fill it with a small amount of water from the tank. I pour that water on the food. Once the food has settled back down, I suck the food along with the water into the tube. I carefully angle the tube into the water to the area where the pleco feeds and let the food fall out of the tube using gravity. If I plunge, it usually causes the food to blow out of the feeding area and onto the gravel substrate. It is also very convenient for cleaning up uneaten food from the gravel substrate.
