Amazing filter material. It has several stages of filtration all in one convenient product. The "cut to fit" option is great, ensuring a perfect fit for most, if not all filter/pump styles. It can be rinsed and reused hundreds of times, making it a great value. It can be stacked onto itself to make it fit snug into a filter without reducing the water flow. My water cleared up an hour after I switched to this filter. This one sheet that I purchased will last years! Buy this. It's great stuff.

I ordered several different Kinds of filters and these were my favorite. Others clogged up too quick. these Held up for quite a bit and are easy to rinse out/clean. Also the amount of filtration they provide is amazing not too big and not too small. I was able to get several filters cut out of the sheet. I use each filter for a month or two rinsing it out about every week or two. Also with rinsing the Filter does not fray apart or lose it form. I use this instead of the old charcoal filters

My Oscar is sensitive to the charcoal in other filters. This filter doesn't have any charcoal very llttle if it has any at all, I look forward to the time I can quit putting medicine in his tank. The 8 layers is doing a great job clearing up the water in his tank. The filter is easy to cut and fit the filters on the tank , When the filter is dirty I can take out and wash it out then reuse it. Saving me money and time

Bought this to use as filter floss for my 13.5 fluval. Way too dense. Water doesn’t pass through fast enough. It’s a good quality sponge that I’ll use for other purposes. It’d be great to clean the inside glass during water changes. Ordered regular floss.

I breed 20 varieties of aquatic snails as well as 10 types of tropical fish. I am currently running about 600gal of total tank space some of which are on sumps and others are using hang on filtration. I spend a fortune on filtration media so I decided to try out this product after everyone has told me to do away with exspensive filter cartridges and I have been blown away at how well they work. I have been using the same cuttings for the past 3 months in all my tanks including my sump and they are still going strong. I pull the pads and give them a good rinse about once a week to a week and a half and I have found that rinsing them does not kill or remove all the bacteria. Now you have prob seen some negative reviews and I think that those are due to the reviewer not properly rinsing the filter media. You will need to use a powerful sprayer like a garden hose with a jet sprayer on it to clean the filter properly. These filters create a great biological breeding ground as well as offering great mechanical filtration and I am very pleased with it. I love that it can be cut to size very easy and it is very well made. Even after cutting the filter media it stays together no edge or layer feathering like you see with other media. I am deff going to be using this filter media from now on. On average I spend about $100 on filters each month and over the past 3 months I have not had to purchase any! Just be sure you rinse it very well otherwise it will need cleaning again in a day or two if you don't get all the gunk out of it.
