FULLY SUBMERSIBLE UNIT.. nice long cord, digital easy to read temp if you can position the controllers direction. This unit heats only, but maintains set temp heatwave. DOES NOT CHILL THE WATER, STILL a good deal :)

Great little heater for my 3 gallon tank. Fits nicely without being too big. Keeps the water the right temperature. Easy to set up.

This unit has a digital temperature reading where you set the desired temp. I like this much more than the twist knob heaters. It feels more precise.Its been heating well for one month now. These units tend to last a long time if you're careful not to drop them and damage the glass tube around the heating element.Another use: several years ago I used similar aqaurium heater units to keep beer mash 'cooking' at the right temperature during the winter. It was invaluable.Nicely constructed heater. Nice rubber ends to protection the heater element.Two thumbs up.
