With my skimmer once you place the media down over the pump when you try to remove it ,,,its tough to pull up. It is very tight and does not bend and when you put your hands down to pick it up you sometimes pull on the media and it unravels somewhat. I like the protection but I don't enjoy picking it up to clean it.

This wasn't at all what I was expecting. It is a stiff mat of plastic not something like you cut to fit your filter. The seller was willing to accept a return however the return postage/shipping was more than we paid for the item. Would have been nice if they had provided returns & deducted the amt. They have to pay from our refund.

I use this to gasket the oversize piping holes in the pond vaults. I used a hole saw and band saw as this is beyond the reach of a box cutter.

I would not order this product again - BUT the principal is great. I clean my filters with a power washer and it holds up well - however, even though it does filter out some debris I should have ordered a higher density mat. My Bad. This mat is just about indestructible so a good bang for the buck. Use as the base filter.
