I’ve been using it for a few weeks in a 2 gallon tank with one betta fish, and overall, it performs well in terms of water clarity and quiet operation. I purchased this pump to filter the water in my toad tank, and it has exceeded my expectations. Not only is it super quiet, but it also cleared up the water incredibly well in a very short time. I decided to add some minnows to the tank, and the pump handles the water quality perfectly, keeping it clean and fresh for both the toads and the minnows. It’s been a fantastic addition to my setup, and both the toads and minnows seem very happy with the clean water!

It works, but after a week it became loud. Loud enough I can hear it from the next room. I feel bad for our fish having to deal with that much noise. Also, our fantail goldfish got stuck to it and died. Maybe because the fantails can't swim as strongly? Our other standard goldfish seems fine around it. Definitely keeps a 10gal tank clean for 2 goldfish (1 now). But I'll be looking for a quieter filter asap.

I love the way my Beta 'Cooper' enjoyed his tank! He is swimming more, going thru his plants, and able to eat peacefully!I would recomend this filter for every fish!

This is trash. it killed 4 of my fish after I used it for 2 weeks. I tried cleaning it and replacing the filter twice thinking maybe it was me. No it was just never working. the water kept getting murkier and murkier and the odor made me throw up. I tossed this and got the tetra one which does wonders.

Works great. The only problem is its size, just wish it was smaller but the size makes it easy to clean and change the filter.. I will buy again

This product has a special USA POLARIZED PLUG. Cannot use ANY of the normal plug converters that normally also do from USA to AUSTRALIA. No use to me in Australia then is it !

[Deutsch/German] + Nachtrag Juni 2024Ich habe durch Youtube diese Filter gesehen und auf empfehlung des Nutzers diese geholt.Nicht nur das die Lieferung gute zwei Wochen benötigt gingen sie BEIDE nichtmal nach 1 Tag kaputt.Hatte gestern Abend mein Terrarium fertig eingerichtet und dann lief auch alles gut.Am nächsten morgen stehe ich auf ist einer der beiden Wasserfälle schon nicht mehr am funktionieren. 1 Stunde später fiel auch der zweite aus. Absoluter Müll in meinen Augen. Aber klar wenn man zwei kauft und beide direkt kaput gehen.Als Elektriker kann ich sagen das irgentetwas an dem Pumpenmotor kaput ging, da diese leichte ausbeulungen hatten wie als wenn der Akku eines Handys sich aufbläht.Und Vorsicht die Pumpen haben Amerikanische stecker, man braucht AdapterNachtrag Juni 2024:Die Pumpenmotoren haben sich verabschiedet, weil sie ohne "Transformatoren", also Stecker oder Geräte die die Spannung von 230 V auf 110V(Amerikanisch) runter transformieren, einfach zuviel Strom bekommen.Diese Pumpen sind für das Deutsche Stromnetz nicht gemacht!!![Englisch/English]I saw these filters on YouTube and got them based on the user's recommendation.Not only did delivery take a good two weeks, they BOTH didn't even break after 1 day.I finished setting up my terrarium last night and everything went well.The next morning I get up and one of the two waterfalls is no longer working. 1 hour later the second one also failed. Absolute rubbish in my opinion. But sure, if you buy two and they both break straight away.As an electrician, I can say that something was broken on the pump motor, as it had slight bulges like a cell phone battery inflating.And be careful, the pumps have American plugs, you need an adapter

stopped working after 2 hours.nothing was blocking it, i checked my own electrics/socket in my room. it just packed up.

I have a 10 gallon tank and this doesn’t take up to much room. Since it is UP TO 10 gallons it can take a little longer to clean up food particles but it seems to be doing its job well enough as I’ve had it in my tank a few days now and it seems to keep the water clear enough.

This filter is so quiet I don't even hear it at all! I also love that it auto-start. We run out of electricity often here and my previous pump didn't auto-start. It fried. With this filter there will be no issues! I use it for my 5 gallon tank.
