*UPDATE* 3 DAYSThes boots are amazing and had to give another star. After the second day they were completely broken in and fit like a glove. At first i was apprehensive about the square toe and havinga loose fit. After they broke in and formed to my foot they are just the right tight and have just enough slip to fit perfect. The soles are always awesome with Ariat Duratread (The makers of Nascar race tires) which makes them durable. My soles always wear down and I have a problem with the steps on my tractor tearing up then soles of my boots. The steps have rough raised steel that is pretty jagged so you won’t slip, this always leaves chunks cut out of the heels and my soles are tore up at 6months and destroyed at 9 but I push it to 12. Don’t have to do that with Ariats. The color is great and the leather is excellent quality as well as the stitching. The wide carbon fiber shaft is great on the arch as well as the heat activated self forming insoles that make this boot an all around winner. Makes anything else feel inferior, you don’t know what your missing until you try its. The use of modern technology and materials (carbon fiber and duratread) mixed with the traditional western practical boot design style.I’ve always worn a 10.5 in boots but I’ve never owned a square toe so that might be why I feel like they are a little spacious in the toes. I love Ariat boots and use to work in a store selling boots and ariat were always my go to boot for customers who wanted something that was built to last and looked and felt good. I can tell I’m going to like these boots I’m just going to have to get used to them. I also still can’t believe I only paid $74.99 for them. That prices alone makes me happy.

Love these boots....I wear 10.5 Wide in most shoes got an 11.5 Wide and the fit perfect!

Haven't had a pair of going out boots in years. I also happen to be clumsy and a smooth bottom boot isn't gonna do it for me. These are best of both worlds, got a decent tread pattern and are stylish enough to take my lady dancing in.

I love these boots. I ordered a pair back in early 2015 and used the sh*t out of them to which the boots held their own. However, the back side on the boot on the inside gradually began wearing and unfortunately I got my foot stuck in because my heel got lodged in between the lining and the support of the boot. Had to cut the right boot off. I must say however that these were the most comfortable pair of footwear I've ever had. The boots molded to my feet overtime and it began to feel as if it was just part of my feet.Because I loved these boots so much I ended up ordering another pair of them after my incident. The exact same pair. Exact same size and everything.I just received them and two things I would like to share to those thinking about purchasing these boots:1) The second pair of boots I received fit differently then the first even though they're the same model and size.2) The right foot feels a little bit larger on my foot and the leather A LITTLE more pliable then the left boot. The left boot was extremely tight compared to the right.3) I am going to order the next size up and see if that makes a difference before returning these.MY ADVICE:ORDER 1 PAIR IN YOUR SHOE SIZE AND 1 PAIR A HALF SIZE SMALLER (so 2 pairs of boots).SEE WHICH ONE FITS BETTER.Overall, I would recommend these boots to anyone who is looking for a work boot, a casual "going out" boot, a rain boot, etc.Would have been 5 star if the lining didn't rip in the first pair and if the second pair I ordered fit exactly like the first pair I ordered.

I re ordered same boots today after 15 months. You can guess after so long, it was hard to get rid of. Besides the comfort, im the kind who dont walk flat and ruin the heel before anything, but this boots are so durable that you can bearly see the worn out heel.

These are great boots! Very comfortable and very stylish. I'm a 9EE and these fit true to size. Very stable when walking round. Only thing I did. Ot like was the insoles, but that was easily fixed with a pair I had from other boots. All in all this is a very well made boot that can be used for either work or outings.

These boots are real good looking and because they are work boots, they have excellent tread...I look forward to wearing them for outdoor work projects and stomping around in the bush. They are taking longer than expected to break in. I have really high arches and slightly wide feet, and usually wear a size 12 in most running/tennis shoes, mostly to compensate for wider feet since these types don't typically come in size EE. So based off of other reviews that said these boots are slightly larger, and to order a half size down from your regular shoe size, I ordered an 11.5EE. Wearing it as it came, there was just a little bit too much wiggle room which created rubbing irritation on the top of my foot and ankle area. I've tried inserting a couple different types of foot inserts, including SOLE and another. While those did help with the lack of arch support, they took up too much space in the boot which makes it uncomfortable for long periods of time. Currently using a gel-arch support pad that i've slipped under the factory foot insole. This is working the best so far, just troublesome making sure the pads stay in the right place throughout the day. I may glue them in once I feel comfortable enough with them. ***Size UP*** I bought another boot and this time went with size 12EE. Coupled with the SOLE insole insert, that boot feels really comfortable and I have no problem wearing them all day. Hope this helps.

Toller Stiefel und kam schneller als angegeben. Tragekomfort ist super und macht 'nen schönen Fuß. Die Sohle hat perfekten Grip auch bei losem Untergrund. Nichts zu bemängeln!

I ordered these because I wanted a pair of lowish boots that were easy to get in and out of, that weren't afraid of the kind of heavy clay/mud we have around here and that I could tuck my pants into while walking the dog in said soil. The fact they're oiled leather was an important part of my decision, as was the profile of the supposedly indestructable soles.The good news is that they fit almost perfectly in 13D (US), despite the fact that I'm more of a 14A (US) person, and thus give good side support. There could be a little bit more space for my pinky toe despite the wide-square toe, and they taper down towards the nose a bit too much. We'll see what that does to the inner lining; it'll probably end up shredding as all cloth lining always does for me; the lack of space probably doesn't help with breathability either. A few days into wearing them (indoors too, for breaking in) I already had white stains on them from perspiration (and this isn't kind on the leather!). I never had this with my 2 pairs of all-leather Noconas, nor with my textile-lined Crispi Swat rangers.Another thing that must be due to the textile lining and the slightly tight fit: I keep having to pull up my socks (up and out from around my toes...). Never had that too in my Noconas.I do find they take a while to break in: the leather is thick and unco-operative at first so there's some discomfort from it not bending in the most ideal places, including the shaft and the reinforcements in the toe box and around the heel (presses into my foot just below the anklebone); I suspect those reinforcements are made of plastic and not leather.Overall those are all things I was more or less prepared for, so overall I'm quite happy. Cleaning the clay out of the soles is a b***h, but that too I was prepared for, as for the fact the soles tend to slip on our pebblestone roads when wet ;)What I'm much less happy about is the fact that the rims of my heels are already showing significant wear after less than a week (!!) of walking the dog. See the picture. We don't have sharp rocks here, only soft limestone and a some gravel. I haven't been walking on metal grating either. Maybe I got a pair of Durashred soles instead of Duratread...?+ good fit and support+ good quality leather, well oiled, (almost) identical for the boot and the shaft+ leather-lined shaft0 tapered nose styling means less place for the toes0 wide-square nose in size US 12 and up means the boot catches onto panelling when I work the clutch in my car- some QC issues, notably in the sewing of the outer sole which isn't routed perfectly through the groove it should follow and will thus wear through sooner rather than later-- soles not as durable as claimed: the heels are already shredding after less than a week of what should be the kind of use these are made for.

Las botas se ven bien con los pantalones vaqueros flojos de abajo y sobretodo su color de las botas es igual al que se muestra en la imágen del vendedor. Son muy cómodas y están bien hechas sin ningún detalle, y sobretodo que pueden usar para trabajo, para salir a pasear o para ir a alguna fiesta o un baile, ya que no te cansarán mucho porque son cómodas. Solamente al principio las botas son muy duras, pero es debido a que son nuevas y se tienen que amoldar a tú pie, pero ese detalle con el tiempo se corregirá. Sin duda un producto de una marca con prestigio cómo lo es ARIAT que nunca decepciona y muy recomendable.
