I am a 70% air tool user has a mechanic, and oiling my tools was something that was hit and miss, now I just fill this up once week, and no problems, my tools work effortless, cooler, and use less air, if I am using big guns, then the ability to alter the oil feed flow is awesome, no leaks, the ability to refill the tank while its still in the airline system is a nice feature to. I have only used for nearly two weeks, but oh how much easier its made my life. Oh and so simple to install, the instructions well in my case lack off, is a bit lame for such a respected name.

Pros: easy to see level and adjustment knob.Cons: I sometimes struggle to turn the oil amount knob on the top. Directions tell me to be safe, not what the second smaller knob on the side of the device does (like a vent maybe?)

I am pretty sure the item was previously used and returned, seller should pay more attention, there were scoring marks near the outlet of the unit. Also unit was half filled with air tool oil...? Who does this?Seems to be a good quality product, as much as I want to I can not give them less than 4 stars. I love the ingersol rand products! I am pretty sure I will love this one as well.

I purchased this to replace a Harbor Freight unit which sprayed far too much oil. It took a bit of time to get the oil metered correctly, but it’s so much nicer.

This works, but leaves something to be desired in terms of fine-tuning the amount of oil it releases. The first time I used it, after a few minutes there was oil all over my air tool and hands and work area. I turned the volume down... tried again with simulate results. After a long process, I eventually had the volume adjuster cranked down until it was nearly closed. It seemed to release just a little too much oil, but only about 1/16th of a turn more and then noticed that the oil wasn’t coming out at all. So... after lots of trial and error, I finally got the flow just about right, but the adjuster goes from (1) no oil to (2) too much oil in a very slight nudge of the screw... almost impossible to get it to oil just a little.Side note: the instructions said something about being able to add oil while it’s under pressure. I found that to not be the case... but also not a big deal to me, as I have quick connect fittings and ball valves upstream, so it’s easy enough to turn the air off briefly when it’s time to reload the oil. Overall... it works. It’s OK. I suggest using disposable gloves until you fine tune it.

Seems to do the job! I bought the filter separate as there appears to be issues buying this with the filter pre attached. Had to order 2 1/4" ntp adapters as well.

Connected to the compressor with the flow arrow in the correct direction. Started with 0 PSI and gradually increased the pressure. Started leaking the tool oil under the clear plastic dome. Possibly defective unit? I was really surprised, given the brand.

Oil is leaking from top as as I used it and looked like it was a used one. Tried to get help but no news from ingersold yet... will try to get reimbursed and will change reviews depending on how it goes with new one if I get a new one.

The measurements in the description said that it was 18.3cm and it was only 13cm. I should have researched the product better.
