My friends and I do paint nights and I got this to hold up our canvases. They are lightweight, easy to stand and do the job. Not made for large canvases!

Bought these for an adult sip and paint party. We used 8x10 canvases and they worked great.

Previous reviews have commented on the flimsy quality of the string securing the back leg of the easel, but that is easily remedied. Despite the attractive price, these easels will not safely hold much weight, and the ledge on which the media would rest does not secure anything. These would likely be a good value for displaying cards or placards no bigger than 10" - 12" in height, or for situations where you want a natural or "country" look.
