Easy to put together and folds compact for easy and convenient travel and storage. It is well worth the price and better than expected. I give it 5 stars.

I was impressed right out of the box with the balance of lightweight and heavy duty that these easel stands have. They're easy to put together, and they can handle fairly large canvases (I wouldn't go oversize however). Also if you're on the road doing a book tour or something similar where you like to have a poster displayed next to you inside your booth or next to the signing table, this 2-easel set might come in handy.

This easel stand was a disappointment to me as soon as I extended the legs the first time. I unclipped the fasteners and pulled one leg out, and not that hard, and it got to its limit and just broke right out, splashing little plastic pieces on the ground. The stand is advertised as 'Heavy Duty', take it from me, it is not. The legs themselves are actually pretty good; the metal is fairly thick and have some weight to them, but the mechanism and the way they are put together is cheap. I really didn't pull that hard and the leg popped right out and the plastic lining around the edge that looks like it is supposed to sort of hold the end into the main piece is very thin and easily broke. I show this in my picture.I got these stands to use for advertising, like to fasten a foam poster board to for a garage sale or maybe a fun welcome sign for a party, and I can still see them working for that purpose--They ARE strong enough to hold a foam board, or something lightweight like that. The main issue I have with their advertising is that they are billed as 'Heavy Duty', and the pictures show people using them to paint on, and even another reviewer shows that you CAN put a painting on them... The thing is, my brother is an experienced artist, and I've helped him display many oil paintings on his easels for his sales, and I wouldn't want to use one of these for that. Sure, they can hold a canvas, and if nobody bumps it too hard it will probably stay in place, but the idea of him standing there painting on the canvas while its being held by one of these stands is a bit of a stretch, in my opinion. They are just not that sturdy and stable to really rely on for painting on canvas. Perhaps my sister could use one for her alcohol based watercolor type painting, which is a much lighter weight medium, and not done usually done on canvas, but I still don't think that would be optimal. For lightweight advertising these could work, but I wouldn't recommend them for any real painting on canvas. One of the legs easily broke the first time I extended it, showing me that the overall quality isn't great, and also, the price feels kind of high. I'll tape that broken leg in place when I use it one day for a garage sale, but if I had the option, I would return it. (VINE reviewers cannot return their items through Amazon.) And be careful when extending the legs!

Happy with my easel. It will work for my uses and is not flimsy. Had chance to buy a metal easel from my job that was 2X the price even with my discount. Here you get 2 easels for a great price.

This set of easels was sturdy enough to hold up two medium sized mirrors, but they were quite bulky. The pieces were a little confusing to put together, and the instruction sheet was small and a bit unclear. I've put together easels and camera stands before, so i'm fairly familiar with where pieces belong, but it may take longer for others.
