Super reliable for 1-3 person. I mostly use it for myself but I have cooked for 3 people with this rice cooker and it has worked. Really depends on how much your friends and family eat but feeds 3 people pretty well for a standard meal. It really does give that standard basmati rice long look, as well as the texture. Enjoy your delicious rice and since it comes with the steamer set, I boiled some amazing dumplings with this rice cooker.

I was tired of cramming my regular sized cooker into the cabinet so I bought this small one. I love it! I can cook enough rice for the two of us for two days. Big enough for cooking rice for 1 to 4 adults. I'm glad I bought it.

Out of round pan. Unit is junk. The lid the lid does not fit right gaping hole on side. The steam rack doesn't fit nothing will cook right. This thing is useless. Stopped working 20 minutes in the first batch of rice total junk!!!

Use a 1 cup of rice to 1.3 cups of water ratio when you do the rice come out nice.

After only a few prior uses of proper cooking, the cooker now changes from cook to warm after about 30 seconds of use. Searched what I thought were prior questions and answers only to get an AI reply to take apart the device and possibly work on the circuit board. Say what!? Lots of suggestion on how the user can correct and no indication if the manufacture will stand by the product reliability. Gave three stars because when the product works properly, the food comes out good.- Button Spring Broken - The small spring inside the button helps it return to the up position. If the spring is broken or missing, the button won't stay down. The button mechanism may need to be replaced.- Loose Button Connection - The button may be loose or disconnected from the internal circuit board. Open the device and ensure the button is properly seated and connected. Reseat or reconnect it if needed.- Software Issue - In some cases, a software glitch can cause buttons to malfunction. Try resetting or updating the device's software/firmware to the latest version.

It’s a game changer for cooking for one. It makes about two meals worth and is so easy to use. So far no trouble with it. It’s true the ‘keep warm’ setting can burn the bottom a bit if left too long but mostly just browns it and it’s nice mixed in after. Have been making chicken and shrimp rice dishes with this rice cooker and it’s saving me money :)

I bought this mini rice cooker to make congee for my baby. However, my husband laughed at its size and doubted its function. So, I tested it today. The result was great! It could cook 4 cups of rice! The husband didn't laugh at it anymore, and he enjoyed the rice! :)
