Not the greatest! Large pores in sponge brushes! Need to be finer pores . Since the pores are a lot larger. The plastic piece inside the brush that attaches to handle. Breaks through the sponge and makes marks. Not a smooth coverage. The brush does it in a couple of strokes.

These foam brushes from Arteza are perfect for me. They come in a package of 50. There are 25 each of 1" and 2". Those are the two sizes that I usually use the most for my projects. For a disposable brush in this price range, these are a very nice brush as I would expect from Arteza. They usually provide a good product at a good value and these are no exception.I like to use these brushes for staining, whether wood stain or stain that I create using watered down acrylic paint or watered down chalk paint. I also use these when I am painting my walls when pouring my paint from the gallon can into my paint tray. I wipe the gallon can with one of these brushes to ensure that I won't have a bunch of paint dripping down the side of the can and onto the floor. These have wooden handles with a plastic core to which the foam is attached. All of my brushes were firmly attached and these are really better ones. The foam on these is the denser foam with smaller pores compared to the ones that are typically found in the dollar stores at around the same price as these. I like these with the smaller pores. It is first of all a better brush that doesn't just fall apart and second it gives a smoother finish than the ones with the large pores.I like the wooden handles compared to the plastic handled brushes that I have found in some stores that let the sponge part fall off. These brushes are a great value at just under 44 cents each. These foam brushes were designed in the US and made in China

They are foam brushes. Good for staining and painting. Use them until they wear out and then throw them away.I initially spent $25 on a good natural bristle brush for my staining project (well actually I bought two brushes) as recommended by everyone and their brother.I bought a couple of cheap foam brushes to try out for comparison. After using the foam brushes I was converted.Cheaper, easier to use, with better results and no brush marks. After trying the two 1 inch foam brushes that I bought at my local store, I wanted more. These aren't the cheapest. I could have bought more for less, but these were cheap enough, the sizes that I needed, and more than I needed.I would definitely recommend these over an expensive bristle brush. You don't have to buy this particular brand but definitely get foam brushes. The two bristle brushes that I bought didn't clean up at all and I've ended up throwing them out. $50 wasted. Should have bought these in the first place.
