I keep some tools in the back of my truck under a cap, but the moisture still finds its way in. My ratchet tool set is in a plastic case that came with a piece of foam that attracted moisture and let my tools rust. So I replaced the foam with this closed cell version and hope the rust doesn’t reoccur. 🤞

I'm using this to make net covers for a hydroponics system and it works great, it doesn't absorb water which is crucial to avoid stem rot, it's extremely soft as well. Every thing in the description is accurate I have no complaints and will buy more if they hold up under strong sun-like LED lights! I would recommend this product!

Foam is overall good quality, but width and length vary even when buying the same time at the same time. Variance was up to 1" in length and 1/2" in width. When attention to detail matters, this is a big issue.

It shrinks a little after getting hot (195° C), but the shrinkage isn't bad. It floats, protects against evaporation and heat loss, and it is easy to cut to the various shapes I need for my immersion cooker and different tubs and around tall items (like milk jugs for re-pasteurizing about to expire milk).

I put some masking tape on this and when I peeled it it ripped like butter. It is very very weak in any tensile way. Otherwise it's great

I'm using this to make custom knee pad inserts. I bought the 1/4 inch thick and it is the right amount of cushion.
