I used this cord to replace the too short, hard wire cord in a wicker pendant so I could hang the pendant from a high ceiling with no electrical in the ceiling area where I wanted it. It worked well, however the pendant it just sort of balancing on the wood receptacle, since there it doesn’t have two part washer/screw on assembly that some cords do. That would have been helpful! But I couldn’t find one like that in a hemp look that was long enough for my needs. So I’m making this one work. I have to re-balance the wicker pendant occasionally, which is annoying, I might try hot gluing them together.

Could have put a little more thought into making it. Some lights shades need that connecting piece to hold it onto the slot. This is missing that so it only works with specific shades or just the bulb.
