Perfect fit for my sons fan. This piece broke and had wires babying out of his fan. Found this to replace it. I couldn't rationalize buying a brand new fan. That fan has lasted many years.

I have a couple of ceiling fans that use candelabra base bulbs. I bought a pair of these fixtures to convert them from candelabra base to a regular E26 bulb base. The fixtures did not fit my fans (Patriot Lighting "Eros" 44" ceiling hugger fans from Menards), but I was able to remove the threaded part from the inside and make it work with parts from the existing fixtures. In the end, I got what I wanted.

I know there were some complaints that this product didn't come with the glass glob and the lightbulb, but that didn't matter to me. I was just needing this particular piece as a replacement for the one in my bedroom. I already had the glass glob and the lightbulb from the old one. This new piece fit perfectly with them.

Delivered on 12.07.23. Broke on 01.07.24. The pull chain broke off inside the switch. I am 68 years old and had to get on a ladder (11-foot ceilings) to take off the old one and install the new one. This is within the return window so I would have to get on the ladder again to take it off, buy packaging, and pay postage to get a replacement. Then back on a ladder again or pay someone to install it. Meanwhile, my Prime membership is making sure my current order, a multi-tool, gets here within 12 days. Such a deal. I began using Amazon when it only sold books, back when they sent you an insulated mug for customer loyalty. Overall, I have spent tens of thousands of dollars, and it ain't what it used to be.

Our ceiling fan/light had the chain pully go out. It was attached to the metal part, and I couldn't get a proper replacement. This product was a perfect match except it was silver, so I sprayed it white. Even the cutouts on it were an exact match.

The wrong color was shipped, but we were in a time crunch and had to install anyway. If it would have been the correct color, I would give it a five star rating.
