Running a i5-11400 and pny3200. Stock cpu cooler fits well, .. swapped out stock cpu fan with a ID-Cooling IS-40x cooler and maybe got a few more degrees but the fan is noisier than stock. the ID cooling is a 45mm and barely fits.Like:Super smallup to 4 drives totalwifi includedruns cool stayed below 73c with stock cooler doing a bench testdislike:motherboard bends easy from cpu cooleradded pic

I bought this to run MS Office, browsers, Spotify - the usual home office stuff - with dual 4K monitors. It works fantastically. Boots in 3 seconds, dead quiet. I have it on top of my desk and never hear it. Used the stock cooler that came with the CPU. You do have to buy and install a CPU (Intel, be careful to get one with integrated graphics) and memory (SO-style, shorter and taller than normal memory, again be careful to order the right style). I already had an SSD and SATA drive from my old machine. Popped in and worked fine. I am using the Display Port for monitor one and the USB-C port for monitor 2. The only issue is that, rarely, the graphics on monitor 2 will get pixelated at the edge of shapes. A reboot cleans it up.This machine CANNOT RUN GAMES. For giggles, I tried Minecraft with everything turned to minimums and it is far too slow to play. Total cost for this machine including two 4K monitors was under $1k.

Although Asrock has had growing pains with their Deskmini 110 series it seems they have expanded this series with newer chips and stability has been improved from what I can see. If you don't need a separate video card but still want desktop powered chips and replaceable parts like ram and storage then this is the only platform that I know of that offers that. For those that need a separate video card then Deskmeet series is for you. the Holy grail though would be a computer this sized or just bigger that would accept ANY generic motherboard of the very small form factor. The price though is really amazing for what you get.

So thisachine is great for what it is, a small form factor machine focused for productivity. But make sure the processor you buy is compatible. Originally I bought a i5 10600f which has no integrated graphics. But I caught it in 2 mins and canceled that processor. I bought a 10600k because it was cheaper than the 10600 and was available to ship faster. As it turns out, that processor is not officially supported. So when using windows it experience is laggy and show because the 10600k needs more power to work properly than a normal 10600. I tweaked the bios to push more power to the 10600k which is getting it to work, but underload the vrms and the cpu get dangerously hot. So I ordered a core i3 10th gen cpu with integrated graphics. Once done that should fix the issue.Overall this is a nice machine, it has more usb ports than the amd version of the deskmini, but there is not included cpu cooler so watch out for that. The integrated graphics isn't as strong as the integrated amd Vega graphics options on the deskmini x300.So this machine is just good enough for basic productivity. Using too power hungry a cpu won't make sense because you can't fit a cooler big enough to cool it adequately Ina chassis this small.A decent buy, but I wish I had just gone for some thing else.
