This is a great punch set. I did have to grind flat sides onto one so I could use it to undent the axle nuts. Jam it in there and then hit it on the top side to push out the indent. Works well.

If you're at at like me and beat the life out of your tool these are for you. They're tough enough to get the job done but I don't feel bad if dull any if the chisels down or lose any because they're so affordable. Great if you're running a mobile repair setup.

I operate a small automotive shop specializing in affordable car care. I do not have the volume nor the need for high end, high cost tools from SnapOn and Matco. I need tools I can afford that work and last when taken care of, and I take excellent care of all my tools and equipment.I ordered this kit because I need quality punches to handle roll pins and dowels on car parts. I researched everything Amazon sells, and these were the strongest offering because they are solid, 1-piece construction, but not so long and thin that they will bend or break when used with a small to medium hammer. Your next quality option will be $70-120, so this was a good choice.These arrived clean and issue free. No bends or damage. No rust. The carrying case rolls up neatly into a compact arrangement, and it has EVERY sized punch and chisel you will need for normal automotive work (not heavy equipment).PS - I own a $70 Astro Pneumatic digital tire pressure gauge and filler, and it has been faultless for two years now. I use it on every job, so that also drove my decision to try this product! I chose it over the $120 Matco version. Hope this helps someone with their decision.

Not Mayhew tools punch and chisel quality, HOWEVER Astro is pretty close, and you cannot go wrong for the price. Would recommend for a light to medium duty or starting out.

Bought these as a second cheaper set to keep on my work van. I honestly like them better than my main set I keep at the shop. The roll makes storage super easy. Have yet to need to clean them up but the gauge will be nice when needed. Highly recommend.

Great value and quality punch and chisel set. I have a SNAP-ON punch set and this one is just as good or perhaps even better honestly. I love the size of the punches. To give you an idea this entire set isn't a huge set and won't knock a truck tire off the rim but will work great for general jobs and mechanic work. I needed a set that bridged the gap between my firearm pin punches and my snap on full set of large punches. This was perfect. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend this set.PROS:-steel hardness is great and the tips hardly deform after heavy use-perfect selection for almost any job-long punch length for getting into blind holes etc-they come pre oiled and rust freeCONS:-you nearly cut your finger off trying to gain access thru the plastic case. Once you break thru the cut proof plastic barrier and get to your punches, have a can of cleaner handy to wipe them down. Then proceed to throw away the red case and edge guide!

I had problem finding punch in my project, this set comes in really handy. I usually scratch my head when the need for a punch comes up and I do not have one. The quality is really great and had no trouble using it at all. the case itself help the set. I had also used the chisel set when I punch a 5" hole in a solid concrete. I was able to chip-in the solid concrete as I enlarge the hole. Without this set, it will take more work and longer to complete the hole. It is saving me a lot of time. The chisels are still sharp after pounded it to the concrete. I highly recommend this quality tool.

Esse jogo de punções é o mais completo que já comprei, a robustez e o acabamento na usinagem de cada peça é excelente. Todas as medidas mais usadas estão nesse kit. O estojo de enrolar torna fácil o transporte pra todo lado, sem ocupar espaço na mala de ferramentas.
