still too bright, most of the time looking at the moon burns a huge black spot in your eye, but the contrast is great for the $.I don't see any flaws with it, clean lens filter without any dispersions I can detect. Great price, and delivered quickly!

I play with an 8" Dob. My favorite activity is exploring the lunar surface. This neutral density filter is a must have for lunar viewing around the full moon. Good color. Good contrast. Easy on the eyes.

I bought a Baader #82 at same time. For the price difference I have to say the Astromania is superior. Both are well built and threads are smooth on both. Baader is probably better machined but did not perform better.

VERY DISAPPOINTED...The package is not new and has been mistreated. It has a stick/gummy substance on it. The filter is enclosed in a round plastic container and does not appear to be new. I need the filter right away, and if I find that it is effective or damaged in any way, then I try it out, it will be going back immediately.

the light of a full moon in a 10"dob telescope can blind you after a while this will help cut down the amount of light
