I recently moved from the desert to the east coast. Humidity went from 7% to 75%. Never had to deal with dew before. This thing works Ok, but the controller is very sloppy, in that it doesn't set to a current level and stay there - it moves around. from 0 to 1.5A, and back erratically. Then, of course, I eventually hooked it up backwards and fried the controller. I ordered 2 more LED dimmers, identical to this one, for $6 each to replace it, and the next one I fry. Live and learn. There's a label on the back showing exactly how to hook it up. I must have accidentally got it right the first time. But still, it should have regulated better out of the box.

I've used it for a few months nearly every clear night. I feed it with an ASIAIR and works flawlessly. I don't use the adjustment knob because I can adjust it from ASIAIR. Good value.

This thing works but it just takes up too much space. The strap itself is thick and difficult to wrap around your lens/scope. The dial for the temperature is very big. The cable length is just way too long for what I do. This was just too annoying to rig to my scope so I sent it back for something else

It works well on my guide scope. Unlike the 400mm dew heater, this has a rubber base. Have used it on about 5 sessions with temperature between 48 to 44F. Works well to keep the dew off.Close to the scope, burnt rubber smell. When I removed the dew heater, it had molded to the shape of the scope end. Also left some liquid residues. Easy to wipe off.For the price, I would expect a better quality. Using rubber is a very bad idea.
