High-quality Protective Cover for telescopes:
- It offers perfect protection for your telescope against dust and moisture. It is an ideal protection if you want to leave it outside for a short term or store it in the cellar or garage.
- Matches all telescopes up to 1200mm length and 10" (254 mm) aperture mounted. Diameter at bottom: 37.6"(955mm). Height of the cover: 70.87" (1800mm), total lenght: 59.1" (1500mm).
Thermally Stable
Silver-coloured coating on the outside - insulate heat, thus preventing the telescope inside from heating up. The material retains its protective function even in extreme heat or cold.
Waterproof and Washable
The cover is water-repellent - the telescope stays dry even in the rain.
In humid weather, condensation may be generated, so it is recommended to put a cloth on the telescope.
Fixing Strap
The fixing strap at bottom ensures a clean closing and prevents wind entering from bottom. Secure against damage from extreme winds and extremely tear-resistant under correct and moderate use.
Easy to Storage and Carry
Foldable - you could fold the protective telescope cover into the package at any time, and it is very convenient to store and carry.
Practical Tip:
The protective cover is not suitable for permanent outdoor use. It is not a replacement for a shelter, but meant for short-term protection of the telescope before or after an observation. Before pulling the cover over your telescope, put an old linen sheet over the telescope. That will absorb the condensate water which will inevitably form under the cover, thus preventing from unaesthetic condensation marks on the telescope. If you encounter a situation of condensate, don’t be surprised, it’s a natural phenomenon.
Suitable for the following telescopes:
- Ideal for medium-sized and larger telescopes on equatorial mount;
- Newtonian telescopes up to 254mm aperture and 1250mm focal length;
- Refractor telescopes up to 180mm aperture and 1200mm focal length;
- Schmidt Cassegrain, Maksutov, EHD, ACF telescopes up to 254mm aperture;
- Telescopes from brands like TS-Optics, G SO, Bre sser, Mea de, Ori on, Ome gon, Sky Watcher, Cele stron and similar.

This completely covers my 180mm maksutov cassegrain on a Losmandy G11 mount fully decked out. It has room to spare and the draw cords at the base allows it to be tightened and secured against mild wind. I’m very satisfied!

So I have a celestron Nexstar 11GPS and this cover fits it perfectly with some wiggle room. You could even go a little bigger with scope size and this will work. Material is strong had a 2 pound weight fall into it pulling it down across the scope and it did not rip the zipper didn't even move. I would recommend this one price and quality isnt bad at all.

this is a large, silver rectangular cover about the thickness of a summer T-shirt. Yes, it fits over a 14 inch gob and it appears to be waterproof but I don’t believe it’s going to stand up to very many covers and removals as one snag on a bolt or something will probably rip it to pieces.Discover was priced on the high side and I expected something a little thicker but it does keep the dust and the do off of your scope.

It is large and reflective-both qualities I was looking for. It is very thin, however, and I cannot imagine that it will last very long. I ended up getting another brand to replace this one.
