I ordered a used ATEQ CORP ATQ-VT37-0000 VT37 TPMS Activation and Programming Tool. What I got was a used QUICKSET X, which is a cheaper model. It doesn't have all the options the VT37 does. I also found that it only comes with a one year license. ATEQ service tech says it will cost $65.00 to update, at the end of the year, and that's only valid for one year. (The unit will still work, as long as I don't get a 2024 model vehicle without updating the license.) I'm not very happy.

After opening the box & fully charging it and also getting the software downloaded on to my computer my device did start up as it should at all when I turned it on all I got was a black screen with a white bar across the center of the screen I spent the entire day trying to figure out why in between helping customers at the shop it was a bummer because I had customers that needed rescanning and Tpms relearning but I couldn’t perform the service because the scanner didn’t work I think I just got a bad one because the VT37 has great reviews I will try to order another one.

Tool itself seems decent. Received the tool on December 16 2022, went to update and the update license was expired as of November 29 2022 and now I can’t update it to work with the vehicle I intended to use it on so I basically have a $200 paper weight, again tool seems decent just do your homework and purchase from a seller that actually honors the 2 years of free updates that Ateq’s website states it comes with.

Seems like a pretty good tool for the money. Takes a little bit to acquire a sensor. Screen navigation is pretty intuitive. Update software works well but the software does not work with Mac.However, is not compatible with Autel sensors, including the increasingly popular MX series. Somewhat falsely advertised as working with all popular sensors.
