Easy to assemble. Took about 30 minutes. My pond is above ground and is a little smaller than the default size. I folded the straps on themselves and stapled them to make the right size. The flexible poles are useful in this regard. The net is of good quality and the assembled net looks good on the pond. The provided net is quite large, I cut it to the appropriate size. The extra net is ample to cover the surroundings of the pond

This is our second winter to use this item. Pulled it out of protected storage and the nylon square used to hold the poles to make the shape was disintegrating, ripped apart in multiple places. We had to knot together the disintegrating straps in order to use it. Putting this thing together is a nightmare as well. Two of the 4 poles had their elastic bands breakfast year trying to put this together. For the price paid, I expected more than one year use out of it. Run the other way unless you have $$ to burn, in that case just set it on fire. This product isn't worth it.

I like that the product was “ as good as new†but was missing a main part to dome the net- it’s literally not possible to assemble without it. Sorry to have to return it back

This is the second pond net that I have bought. I love it. The net covers my pond well. Keeps the leave and critters out. Very sturdy. In the reviews I seen where someone has said it was “uglyâ€. I don’t think so. It does a wonderful and covering your pond to keep leaves and critters out isn’t going to be attractive. The pond net last about 4 years. For Being out in the elements 365 days a year, I think is good. So I highly recommend.

I bought the larger net for my Koi and goldfish pond 2 summers ago. It is absolutely great. I live in a rural suburban area and prior to purchashing this one I had all kinds of issues with other pond nets. Birds, cats, dogs, deer, wild animals and not to mention the weight of the heavy snow. In addition, in the past winter based on reading the reviews, I had expected this net to collapse from the weight of the snow. I have not any animal or snow issues in the past year. All 30 of my fish survived the winter with a couple of extra added. I agree it takes two people about an hour to put it together but I beleive if you take that extra assembly time up front it is better in the long run. I am planning to by a smaller net to start a small garden. The results are great and for a great price. I highly recommend this item to others.

I recently installed the Atlantic Water Gardens Pond cover. This is a great product. It is easy to assemble and the best thing is that I can see and enjoy my pond while it is on the pond! The reason for this purchase is a five foot tall blue heron that has FOUND my pond. I do not fear that he will enter the pond now to fish. If he gets in the net, I will have to go free him but my fish will be safe.

It was a little tricky at first to put together. After a couple of tries, perfect. My pond has a water fall & is oddly shaped this worked great covered the entire area. I had a raccoon problem & a large tree in the back yard this took care of both problems. Keep the leaves & raccoons way from my turtles. Yes, I’d recommend it. Yes, if I needed another cover I’d buy it again.

This net was super easy to put together, and the mesh is strong. One person can easily do it alone. It looks great. I was worried it would look strange over my pond, and was pleasantly surprised.Update: I have had several raccoons try to get my Koi, and this net has stopped them. My security camera showed 3 raccoons one night trying to get in, but they gave up.

This is a great product. It was very easy to assemble (just like a dome tent). The size is perfect for our pond and the extra large netting made it possible to stake the protector in the ground away from the water. We can take it off and on easily and sometimes leave it on for a few days, as it is not unattractive. Because of the dome our water plants have room to grow. The raccoon problem is solved. Highly recommend.

It doesn't fit and Atlantic Water Gardens are charging me to return the product as well as they will charge me for the original shipping charges. This is not acceptable! Amazon is not like this and perhaps Atlantic should have offered both sizes on Amazon. Extremely disappointing and an expensive return for me. I spend a lot with Amazon. In cases like this there should be a disclaimer so that the purchaser understands the cost to return.

I set up this pond screen all by myself, and took it down before the snow fell all by myself. It was easy to do and very effective at keeping the leaves out of the pond. Wish I had ordered one 10 years ago!
