How to Replace the atn95e Needle
●To remove the old stylus (needle)
Hold the cartridge in one hand, grasp the plastic stylus housing with thumb and forefinger, and pull away from the cartridge. The stylus assembly comes away at a slight angle.
●To install a replacement stylus
Insert the new stylus assembly into the cartridge at a slight angle, so the hook at the end of the stylus fits into the slot in the cartridge body. The stylus assembly should click into place when fully seated on the cartridge.

The first image is of the needle purchased. As you can see, it does not fully connect. The second is a picture of the original audio technica needle, which fully connects and clicks and into place. The needle I purchased makes a muffled low level sound. I will be returning it

Great item but it was the wrong plastic design this I could not use it. Same quality as proper replacement item and would recommend if I had the part this fit.

This did not fit onto the cartridge. I have the lp120, not the lp120x.

It works, my only gripe is that the highs seem too high, in comparison to the Audio-Technica brand one.. I compensated for this by running my turntable into an effects processor to control the EQ, but I shouldn’t need to. Very soon u will purchase a new AT one to see if it fixes it or not.

Difficult to install. Barely played a record all the way through without skating across the entire thing, even with anti-skate at max.Tried everything. Recalibrated tone arm multiple times to no avail. Sound quality was poor the few times it actually tracked.Bought an actual Audio-Technica AT95E to replace this piece of trash stylus and all problems were immediately solved.DO NOT BUY THIS STYLUS!!

This thing must’ve been damaged in production or something. It does NOT look like an exact replica of an actual Audio Technica stylus. Get the actual AT made version. This needle did not sound good whatsoever. I replaced it with the old stylus that was on there and had no issue. I then ordered a new, Audio Technica brand version, and also had no issues. Don’t buy this, especially when the real version is the same price.

Picked this stylus up as a spare so no comment yet for it but if is like the original it will be great.
