The process of replacing the battery in an Oceanic G-2 is very easy, when you have all the right pieces. And the key to open the back. My only wish that Oceanic would make a new lens or front element (not the lens cover) available also. Great watch that’s easy to maintain.

This is a good, minimal replacement battery for the Oceanic dive computer. It's not a consumer package and I think not even a dive shop kit, but it does the job.

I bought this for my Oceanic Geo 4.0. Within the first 15 minutes of my first dive, it died. I’m lucky I had a backup computer. The computer itself is fine, no water got into the sealed battery compartment so the battery was defective.I tried contacting the seller but after weeks have not gotten a response. Would not buy from them again.
