We’ve been looking for, and at, shuffleboard tables for well over a year. While we typically buy higher quality furniture and decor, we simply couldn’t justify 2 - 4 thousand dollars for a high-end table that would get occasional use.I was skeptical of this one due to some of the negative reviews, but ultimately decided on it, and I’m happy I did. At this price point, this table is of exceptional value. At 9 feet, it was a perfect fit for our game room even though I was wanting something a little longer. I’m glad I stuck with the 9 footer. As far as delivery, it arrived 8 days earlier than anticipated and promised by Amazon which was a welcomed surprise. This baby is pretty heavy and there was some decent damage to the box which concerned me. After opening though, I found everything in excellent condition with all included parts and peripherals. Due to its weight, we had to unbox and take upstairs one piece at a time.Assembly was a breeze and it took me and my 14 and 17 year-old daughters just over an hour to build. The instructions were well laid out and easy to follow. While the instructions state that only a screwdriver and included wrench were needed, I opted to use a cordless driver at a low torque setting, which saved a lot of time.Regarding quality, keep in mind that this is a $500 table. You shouldn’t expect a table made out of solid wood that weighs 500 - 700 pounds. The bulk of the frame is fiberboard, but there are enough supports and screws to make this table particularly robust. The playing surface itself is about half the thickness that you would find on more expensive boards, but again this is consistent with this price point. Using several tools, I found the playing surface to be perfectly square and true. Absolutely no warping or cupping. As a completed unit, it is extremely sturdy. As a person “of size†at almost 300 pounds, I can comfortably lean on or against this table when shooting with no wiggle or movement of the table. The included pucks are similar in quality and weight with every other puck I’ve used in the past which was another pleasant surprise.Properly prepped with silicone spray and powder wax, gameplay is outstanding. I did not used the included wax, but instead purchased the Sun-Glo silicone spray and #6 speed shuffleboard powder wax combo from Amazon. The #6 speed wax seems like the sweet spot where gameplay is concerned on this size table. Additionally, I purchased the Playcraft pin setter with bowling pins which is a TON of fun.Ultimately, I’m VERY satisfied with this purchase and after a significant amount of time looking, thinking, and fretting over what to buy, I’m glad I went with this table. If you are looking for a lower cost alternative, I think you would be happy with this table. The only downside is that my 17 year-old daughter beat me handily on the very first game we played on this table. I quickly redeemed my pride and status as head of the family by whooping her at shuffleboard bowling though!

Just put this together last night. Everything aligned REALLY well. The production quality and accuracy are fantastic. The directions made sense and the pictures were helpful. It's heavy, which means it's strong and durable. Take your time putting it together and be gentle if using a power drill (the drill's clutch is your friend) - it seems to be pressed particle board so it's still pretty easy to strip the pre-drilled screw holes. All in all, I'm very happy with the purchase and expect it to last quite a while. The only annoyance I had was the "sand" that comes with the unit (for the pucks to slide on) is really, really slick - it appears to be tiny plastic balls, rather than actual sand or sawdust or whatever I'm used to playing with on other units in bars. As such, you have to send the pucks VERY delicately to land a point, otherwise you just overshoot. My kids (6 & 8) played for ten minutes and still couldn't be gentle enough to get a point - a little frustrating for any player of any age. I'm going to try to use the stuff that came with it but may end up replacing it if it proves too difficult to score with. The shorter, 9' board may also be part of the issue, as players may think they've got more "runway" to let the pick slow down than they actually do. Regardless, really great product and the dust/sand is easy enough to replace if I need to.

After all of the reviews about damage done during shipping and delivery problems, I went for it anyway. The table arrived when expected, the Amazon delivery men were careful unloading it from the truck and bringing it into the house. The box had no damage to it. Opening the box, I found everything well wrapped and protected. Finally reaching the playing table, which was upside down in the box, I tilted it up to look at it and it looked fine. Assembly is done upside down and was very easy. Once assembled, my son and I flipped it over. I was standing at the side of the table and saw a beautiful game top. My son, standing at the end of the table, saw something else. There was a half circle indentation on the table that couldn't be seen unless you were standing in the right light. It looked like someone had dropped a 5 gallon bucket on the table, causing the damage. That's how Escalade Sports packaged this game.I called them and told them the situation, sent the photos of the damage to them and quickly received an email response saying that they have opened up a ticket with all of my info and were working to send me a replacement top. A couple of days later they told me the the replacement top was on its way. The shipping company contacted and set up a day and time. I asked about returning the damaged top and they told me that they didn't want it. Replacement arrived, noticed a bit of damage to one corner of the box but nothing that the protective packaging couldn't handle. Got the box in the house, opened it up to find the tabletop was just boxed, no protection what so ever, even for the playing surface. the corner of the table was broken. Sent photos of damage and commented about the lack of protection. They assured me the a replacement will be sent and noted my" request" for protection of their product. Finally received the second table...boxed exactly like the first. no damage to the box. Opened it up and found that the playing surface had pieces of laminate missing. This is how it was packaged and shipped to me. I called them and was on hold for 15 minutes. Hung up, emailed pictures of the 3rd damaged table and told them that I was done and was going to return the table back to Amazon. 5 minutes later they responded by closing out my ticket and a survey on how well the resolved my problem. no apology. I really didn't want to return it. A friend of mine, who's a carpenter, came over and was able to repair the broken corner of the first replacement top by using the corner of one of the tables with damaged playing surface. After 1 month, I am finally playing shuffleboard. The product is great but quality control stinks! I now own 2 useless, 180 pound tabletops. Any takers.

Really happy with it! Although one of the "feet" you screw in to the the legs would NOT go in no matter what. Overall really happy:)

Having lots of fun with this. Had problem assembling because holes for screws made it feels like it got stripped. Had to break a wooden toothpick into holes for some ofvthe crews t be tight enough. Have only used boards with sawdust, use the the silica sparingly or the pucks will become airborne.

I chose this item, so my grand kids would have something fun to do when ever they came for a sleep over, Although the size is good the finish on top isn't great, good weight on the stones but, they slide way too fast, the little bottle of sand that was included was no good at all, seemed to be magnetic & when ever a rock was put down without being pushed it just went down the table without stopping no matter how easy the rock was dropped.. The top finish is way too shiny, which makes it hard to control the rocks, A piece of the wood came off the top , ruining the finish.. everyone has the same advantage so, it's not a great big deal.. Would I buy it again? likely not. But, it is a nice little table if it wasn't for the speed the rocks go..
