Okay for aluminum. 5mm broke on first run on ideal diameter mild steel. Others Left threads with alot of chatter.

The only thing I think could have been done better is mark the dies as left handed thread.

The threads on M5 size die weren't good and not deep enough to give thread on a Ohto pen refill. There is about 1-2mm of empty space and that space makes useless on the limited space on the Ohto pen refill to use in MontBlanc pen.

I was able to machine cut M5 threads on 304L stainless rod for carburetor linkage with no issues. although I could tell that the die was getting dull after threading 5 or 6 rods approx 2.5" in length...but It got the job done on a budget.

Tolerances are terrible anything I thread with these will NOT fit the specific tapped hole

Good quality dies. Stamping for the dies for size is hard to read on some dies (not imprinted deep enough)

Needed a reverse die quick. My set is hex and these are round so clamped it in vice grips and it split in one of the thinner areas instantly. Seem kinda cheap.I was able use it but they also didn't bite in easily and I only threaded aluminim rod and had tapered the end to make it easier.In short, cheap but work. And reverse thread products were impossible to find locally and these delivered in 1 day with prime and got me out of a pinch.
