For the woodworking project I used them on, they worked GREAT. The countersink was smooth and round, unlike the fluted ones I've used in the past that left slightly hexagonal holes due to chatter.

I work for a company called dematic, we do a lot of drilling, tapping, boring, and countersinking. I gambled on this product to see if it would make my job easier, it did not. I am using tap oil on a drill press yet these burnt out within 1 minute,I also tried manually using these bits in a hand drill and have the same results. I literally got two holes counter sunk before these were useless. I'm sure they would do great in wood, but these are advertised as high speed metal counter sinks. If I can give a lower rating than one star I would.

I've tried flat edged cheap screw countersinks, cut terrible and dull fast. I've tried lots of the type that have the drill bits down the center, always snapping the bit or clogging the point between the bit and the cutting area of the countersink. This style from ATOPLEE does not seem to clogg, doesn't chatter around in a hole, and cuts quite well. I've only used them in various woods so far, but I'm very pleased with the performance. Sight 4 star ding as the machining seems a bit rough and mine had some very light rust spots, nothing that didn't clean up very quickly or effected use. I would buy again, especially if they came out with quick connect to use them in a cordless drill.

This counter sink set comes with most sizes one needs to drill a perfect sink hole. The shape allows for smooth boring and finishing holes

I would have been very disappointed with the quality of these countersinks if I had paid much more. I will only use them for wood and they will do but they do not cut as nice a hole as some other higher priced countersinks that I have.

I kept seeing these in youtube woodworking tutorials and was not happy with the old countersinks I have used for years, so I ordered the set. I must say I am completely happy with the purchase. My only warning: HANDLE WITH CARE, they are SHARP! No, I didn't cut myself on them, but I can see how it could happen. Not sure they would be good on metal, but I bought them for woodworking only.

Bought Nov, ‘24 to use on wood. Wanted the variety of sizes. NONE of the 4 sizes in this set will cut - period! Evidently made wrong. My old bits (which are pretty much worn out after 20 years of use), still work better - they cut! Disappointed! Should be Zero stars!Sorry…
