Purchase this for my 1995 Geo tracker, perfect fit and function, even has a metal clasp on the speedometer, and instead of the original plastic style a little bit more stout the only thing is the Gromit for the firewall is not installed on the new cable, you have to remove the old one and install it on the new cable other than that works perfect, fits perfect,Recommended!! Too bad they lowered the price by $10 after I already purchased it lol

Worked great, and affordable pricing. It took the needle bounce and growl out of our Sidekick with 180,000 miles on the original cable. Note that if you run the Suzuki Sidekick without a speedo cable, it will throw a check engine code. This will fix that, if the speedo is the cause for your code.

The Geo Tracker speedometer cable I got was one foot shorter than the one I replaced so I had to reroute it. Other than that it worked great.

Worked great for one day . then quit. Pulled cable out and it was broken about three inches from speedo head.

The head which goes to the speedometer is a little too large to fit the hole in the firewall... Some have pulled the head off and then back on.... I've made the hole a little bigger instead

Bought my tracker with the speedometer not working come to find out someone who owned it before me cut the cable under the dash. This is a perfect replacement.

This speedo cable is defective. The outer jacket is much shorter than the inner cable. If you connect the cable to the speedometer and then connect it to the transmission, the plastic coupler at the speedometer end will become disconnected from the cable housing because the inner cable is too long. You cant just cut off the end because the cable end is welded and squared, so if you cut it off it won't be squared to fit the speedometer. I returned this product for a refund.

Looks like someone else had the exact same problem as me. Worked fine for 8 months, then snapped inside the jacket about 4 inches from where it plugs into the back of the dash. It also says that it includes lube but it doesn't. Neither of them came with the lube.
