I have this in a "complicated" system. Multiple amps and multiple processing. It's said to connect before any EQ, active crossovers. Mine instead is very last in line right before the amp. I have a single 10". Every thing I added was over the period of a year. Nothing has ever went into protect within the entire 3 years. I have recently passed this on to another family member and got the matching "Bass Processor" for my own system, if this product is used correctly, I'm sure it can't fail, I've abused this product as well during audio tuning to see how effective it was on a spectrum level. 5 out of 5!
