The S6 fits perfectly behind my monitor and pairs perfectly with the A2+ desktop speakers. Using Fxsound on Windows 11 and the sound is nice and full. These speaker definitely outperform my previous speakers the Bose Companions and Logitech Z407's. Very happy with my purchase.

This thing bumps. The auto sleep function is nice. The controls are simple. Can't imagine needing a bigger sub. It was easy to add on to my existing Audioengine N22 paired with P4 bookshelf speakers.

I paired the S6 sub with the H3's (which get 5 stars) after my Altec Lansing 621 sub blew. I use this setup for a gaming workstation in a home office and wanted a small sub. A sub is a must have for the H3's and brings the whole experience up a notch. I used the H3's alone for several days while waiting for a Kanto SUB6 which didn't show on time so I cancelled the order and spent the extra cash on the S6. After tuning, it's very good, it pairs well with the H3's, and it has a standby feature. The dollars are a lot for a 6" sub though, for just a few more bucks your can get the S8. The Kanto SUB6 is also half the price, but you may have to wait a long time to get one.

I had recently purchased the Audioengine 2+ desktop speakers for my Mac. They are great but they do, not surprisingly, lack bass on the lower end.I called up support at Audioengine and asked for their advice - should I get larger desktop speakers? I didn’t want to because I wanted the smaller footprint for my desk. They suggested getting the S6 or S8 sub to pair with my speakers. They also said that if I didn’t want to spend more money, download the app, EQMAC, and effectively EQ my speakers. But their ultimate recommendation was to consider a sub.I did download and use EQMAC and it worked well but this sub idea kept bugging me. So I decided “buy a subâ€. I liked the S8 cause it comes in white (to match my speakers) but it under my desk for a computer - I’m not trying to fill a room —- so I opted for the S6 (it’s black and grey).Ok — my opinion. WOW! This combo of my A2+ speakers with the S6 sub is unbelievable Soooo glad I sprung for this combo. Very happy with my purchase.And high points to Audioengine support - excellent!!

I purchased the AudioEngine 2+; which I love. For the size they have decent based but I wanted more. These work great! Just know that using your AE2+ at low volume will not trigger the S6 -- there is a minimum 'trigger' volume necessary. I think they are ideal for a computer desk set-up in which you want a small compact sub. Very solid and good quality.

We listen to this sub with a set of descent quality desktop speakers. The main listening room is approx 16x32. This 6 inch sub provides the bass we desired. I would guess that this sub would meet most non audiophiles needs.However, if you want the rumble and not just the thump, then go for something better / bigger.

I have paired this speaker with Audioengine's A2+ which now gives them the low end punch they require. Clean, tight bass from this relatively small speaker. Excellent build quality. I can highly recommend.

I mostly listen EDM and that thing brings the sound of my Audioengine A2+ to a whole new level. I had to put some foam under the printer sitting next to it to avoid vibrations noise.
