I bought this headshell to use it with a M 93 SV five elliptical cartridge moving magnet cartridge and it’s a perfect combination

I bought this for my Denon DP-1200 to replace a generic headshell that I was using. I’m using a Sumiko Rainier cartridge on it. It is much heavier than my previous one. It doesn’t have a brand name so I don’t know how to compare that for you, other than the weight of this headshell, which is in the listing. I realigned everything easily and made sure the vertical tracking force was spot on for my cartridge. I can’t say I can hear much difference if any. I am not some self proclaimed audiophile that will describe all of the flavors that I can taste when playing a record. I will say it was easy to install the cartridge, looks great, and sounds great to my normal human ears. I will defiantly buy many more of them so I can use the same headshell with all of my cartridges.

It was easy to mount my Audio-Technica mono cartridge using this headshell, and it fits the S-shaped tonearm on my Fluance RT-85 turntable perfectly. The quality seems to be very good. It came with an assortment of mounting hardware. Once mounted, the headshell/cartridge combination sounded great.

This Audio-Technica Headshell is light weight, but seems to perform well enough. Check your Phono Cartridge to be sure it will work well with this feather weight Headshell.

This is the latest design for Audio Technica's moving magnet cartridge and it's a winner. This headshell design has a look of luxury and refinement lacking in the HS1 headshell which you can still purchase. The new design and the older design sell for around the same price. Pick the headshell you like best. My latest headshell came in black. I only owe genuine Audio Technica headshell with the AT logo. There's just something about that logo that adds class to my AT turntable. It says I'm giving it the best. I suppose cheap generic headshell will work if you want to save a few dollars but only the real thing is good enough.

Don’t waste your time with anything less than this. Tried a couple other bargain head shells which failed miserably. The A.T. Feels solid, has a nice finish, and the wiring is as good as any other shell I’ve come across (in this class) with good contact protection at the base end and some of the better fitting cartridge connectors in my experience. I’ve used it with multiple tables and have had no issues with mounting or alignment.

AT's headshell has the right weight and balance to replace my Technics SL-5300 part. The installation is easy enough and, of course, recalibration and adjustments were necessary. So, if you are thinking of buying one, you should have a caliper, precision scale and a protractor to make the necessary adjustments and obtain the best sound possible.

Buen diseño de headshell, moderno, y de buena calidad. Lo uso en una AT-LP120XUSB con un cartucho AT-440MLa, el cual quedo muy bien y fácil de alinear.
