I just want to chime in that I got this as an upgrade stylus replacement to the AT3600L cartridge that came stock on my Angels Horn turntable.I wasn't displeased overall with the AT3600L but seeing that the ATN91 is only about $5 more than a replacement AT3600L stylus, and since the ATN91 stylus considered an upgrade over that (while being compatible with the AT3600 cartridge), I gave it a whirl- and honestly, this stylus is quite a difference maker.The AT3600L was pleasant overall ("warm" as vinyl enthusiasts like to say), but with the ATN91- the music now really pops. I listen to mostly hard rock/metal and there is a clear difference- Just overall "punchy-er" sound. The highs are bolder and more pronounced. The low end is tighter and more apparent. All good stuff for me. Maybe this is subjective for some people who prefer a mellower "warm" sound, but for my tastes, the sound is much better.Combine with the fact that this stylus tracks at 2 grams instead of the 3600L's 3.5 grams- this will put less wear on your vinyl, which is always great.All in all, overall, a very easy (and cheap) upgrade to the 3600L for those hoping to get a little more out of their vinyl. Just make sure your turntable has a counterweight for adjustable tracking force, since you will need to reduce to 2g for this (aka, this upgrade is NOT for the LP60 turntable family, which should only use the 3600L due to its fixed counterweight tuned only for that stylus- this style will ruin records on those turntables since it would track way too heavy for the ATN91).

An overly enthusiastic teenager broke the needle on my turntable. All good! Replacing it was easy. Took me about 5 minutes. Sounds as good as ever.

I have a U-turn table, and ATN91 sounds actually more pleasant than Ortofon Red, which costs 3x. I think the conical needle is less demanding in terms of tone arm angle adjustment, so unless your TT costs over 300, this cartridge might be your best bet. The sound is warm, and I don't feel the need to adjust the needle position as I did with the Ortofon. I use it with a class A tube amp and old school floor speakers.

I need to change my needles fairly often but I think it’s the kids not being gentle and not the needle quality

I was looking for replacement needle to my Denon DP-200 USB. Since it's difficult to find the original one, DSN-84 I look for compatible needles and I found this one. The sound of my turntable is clean again. For the price, I think it's a great option. I don't know if Ortofon or another brand makes this type of needle but I'm satisfied with this.

Commandé hier soir, reçu en milieu d'après-midi ! Le produit correspond parfaitement à celui qui devait être remplacé. Le saphir est protégé par un capuchon de plastique translucide qui permet de le protéger pendant le transport mais aussi en cas de longue période sans usage du tourne-disque. Aussitôt reçu, aussitôt installé et testé. Il fonctionne parfaitement, j'ai préféré la qualité de l'original plutôt qu'un produit équivalent sans marque et qui aurait été livré avec plus d'une semaine de délai.

I had to watch a youtube video to figure out how to snap it onto the cartridge, but after that the installation only took a second. The sound quality is fantastic - i'd assumed i'd want to upgrade to a more expensive cartridge in a few months, but after spending some time with this stylus on a basic free turntable i found on craigslist i'm not sure what could be gained sonically from upgrading - and i have a reasonably decent streaming system for comparison (Klipsch RP-600m speakers + NAD c 338 amp). Depending on the quality of the pressing for a given LP, it can be difficult to discern the difference between the LP version and the streaming version (via Spotify Connect).

Good quality alternative catridge for my Rega P1. Clean sounding but the Rega Carbon have more punch at lower end.
