Worked perfectly on my 2019 Crosstrek- use to transfer my kayak. Bars seem very well made. Pretty easy to set up- if it doesn’t seem to fit at first ROTATE THE BARS. I have no idea why it would make a difference, but flip the bars.Had the front bar on no problem. The second bar had a huge gap between roof rails and clamp, and I was concerned that it wasn’t gonna fit my car. And then my mother said “try flipping itâ€. I thought she was crazy. No way that would work. For whatever reason, flipped the bar and now it’s nice and snug.The only downside is there is a wicked howl above 30 mph. That is mitigated by wrapping with paracord- now the noise is reduced to something comparable to the noise of an airplane. Just general soft wooshing, not too annoying at all.Very happy with the purchase and way better than giving $250 to the dealer.

Takes some initial learning but overall it’s easy to install and remove. The additional wind resistance adds some noise you may notice but it’s not loud or bothersome. Good stability and helped keep two kayaks safely on top of my SUV!

What I liked - heavy duty - weight limit (250 lbs) - don’t have to worry about not having enough strength or sturdiness problems.What I don’t like - the gap between lock covers - was 29†on one bar and 27†on the other plus the cover material (plastic) does present a problem when attaching a rooftop tent to a vehicle - I needed a 28†gap. The weight of the tent broke the plastic covers on one bar. While the 29†gap on the other-no problem

I needed to buy new crossbars after snapping my front Subaru OEM crossbar this summer. These fit perfectly and seem stronger. Better yet they give me 2 - 3 more inches of usable crossbar than the OEM bars. I have a Thule Cascade box on top of my car along with a Thule UpRide bike rack. With the OEM bars my pedals would rub on the Thule box. In fact when I went over the pothole that caused my bike to rock back and forth and the crossbar to snap, my pedal cracked the side of the Thule box. With these new bars, I have a couple of inches of clearance between the pedal and the box, which is sweet. I like the extra weight rating, too, because it allows me to load up the Thule box with climbing gear with lot more confidence. I just put these on this fall, so no idea about durability, but they seem tougher than the OEM bars. But, pleased so far.Update: 2/13/22. Still rocking the same set-up, and no issues whatsoever.

Just got back from a Trip and they were great. One note Tho just use a Little Loctite Clear Silicone on the end caps after your done and your GOOD to go. I bought a new Subaru and needed strong crossbars for the rooftop tent that I wanted to move from my old Subie. I had Yakimas before but the towers I needed now were different. These crossbars came with the towers. I am impressed with the sturdiness and am glad to have found these. Watch out Thule and Yakima, these prices are just amazing!

They work well during the first summer and I like them than the originals came with my car. One downside is that you would need to tight them up every time you load up. The other downside is that they are not easy to unlock when uninstalling them.
