With all the Johnny come lately code readers on the market. After using 3 different brands to no avail, I was able to stream the live data & and diagnose my Fiat in just a few minutes. With this little Autel. I have used major brands of professional level scanners at various shops & liked the Autel. So after trying a couple generic code readers that wouldn't give me any information I ordered this autel, & wow Glad I Did!The internet rabbit hole had me convinced clogged cat, EGR, VVT or other expensive repair.In 10 minutes I checked stored codes. & current code. Checked live stream data & took care of issue in less than an hour.Super easy to use, & it gives you the information you need to diagnose a drivability issue that could have led to a huge bill at a shop for just a couple bucks. I highly recommend this litte jewel.

I now have a 2023 BMW M340xi and is able to read that as well!Original Review (2017):Hello all, I was getting annoyed by the fact that I had to constantly go to AutoZone or PepBoys in order to find out why the Check Engine Light (CEL) was on. Sometimes they would even charge me to do soSo I went ahead and did my research on which one I should buy. I was looking for a scanner that would be able to read ALL vehicles that has OBD II, ability to tell me that code and what the code means, and the ability to clear it. This scanner did all of that and I'm very happy with my purchase.Here are some things that I did soon as I got the device in the mail. I downloaded the program form their website (Maxi-Link v1.04) in order to update it to it's latest firmware, plugged it in with the provided USB cable, followed the steps and it was up to date! And to my surprise they even had a DTC Lookup manual in their program in case you forgot what the code description was or if someone knew the code but didn't know what it means, this was extremely handy to have. It had P0, P2, P3, U0 and U3 within the DTC lookup, codes with P1, P3, and U1 you would have to do research as they are manufacturer specific. Another neat feature is that this scanner allows you to view freeze frame data and the I/M Monitor is very useful also.The LED screen is very nice to have as some scanner don't even have a lit screen, even more expensive ones doesn't sometime. But I only wish the buttons like ENTER/Exit and Scroll were lit also but it's not something that I would knock off a star for.As I said before, I did a lot of research so here are some reasons why I chose this product over the others. - I had friends and family that had bluetooth scanners and they all had some type of bad experience with them. This didn't make me not want to buy one however, I didn't buy it because of the fact that I had to use an app off the phone or tablet and I personally hate scanners like that. - It was very small and compact, but it only told you the code with no description, you would have to remeber the code or write it down and do your own research. Also, it only has a small screen and I felt as if that it would be hard to navigate through the screen if I need to. Lastly, PepBoys in my neighborhood, used this in order to tell you what code pops up, and it was unable to read both my Audi and BMW. I read others say it was working on theirs but I saw it with my own eyes that it wasn't working and I knew I didn't want this product. - Same reason as the first product above () - Same reason as above. - Same company as the product I'm reviewing but the fact that the screen was small, I was willing to pay the extra $15 to have a nice lit bigger screen with more features as well.Cars tested with: 2011 Audi A4 2,0T - working 2011 BMW 328xi - working 1999 Toyota 4 Runner Limited - working 2006 Nissan Altima - working 1997 Mitsubishi Outlander - working

Good useable tool, but from Autel's website it is not current production. It appears to be superseded by the model AL329.

I bought a Mercedes at auction. Driving home and all sorts of lights are going off. I knew there would be tweaks to be done, but seriously? Lights lights lights. This showed up and I plugged it in. One error. Looked it up and saw the "first things first", the gas cap wasn't for a 2007 Benz. It was just one of those generic Chinese gas caps. Changed it out with my other old Benz that is being put to pasture. Next was checking the oil...hmmmm there is no dip stick. BTW those things are impossible to find on line and OEM parts are back ordered at least 6 weeks. Pulled the one from the old Benz, obviously a parts car now lmao and plugged that into the open orifice. Drove around and pleasantly surprised, no lights. This thing saved me a trip to Henri's for a once over with a real European mechanic. I'm happy I bought this

We purchased this product because our smog check keeps bugging us.It indicated very clearly on the status of our vehicles, it came with a charging cable and connecting cable with vehicle along with the machine. we love it very much and we believe it's worth the value of money.By the way, we passed the smog check after running long miles, and we made sure this machine indicated we passed before we went to the smog check station, which saves us a lot of time by going back to the smog check station without knowing whether it's pass or not. Awesome.

Liked the fact that it got here the next day I was able to read the code on my truck and it's misfiring on no one cylinder all good now was easy to connect the controls where easy to set up everything worked out

El producto cumple su función de borrar los fallos de motor que se encienden por algún error determinado.Tengo una berlingo del 2022 y estos vehículos suelen tener problemas del tipo de encederse la luz de motor por motivos de falta de temperatura de aire,etc caja precalentamiento normalmente producidos cuando llegamos al vehículo y arrancamos rápidamente.Compre la herramienta,entro en el sistema,me valoro el fallo y lo pude borrar.Para mi ha sido un gran descubrimiento. Lo recomiendo 100% pero recuerden esta máquina ni ninguna otra borrará un fallo si tienes alguna pieza rota o estropeada.Por lo demás relacion calidad/precio un 10
