I have a high end OBD2 scanner and it works great. I saw this tablet style OBD2 scanner for its great price and decided to purchase it as a backup and to carry with me in my car all the time. It is nice to plug into your vehicle or a friends vehicle to check a code. This tablet scanner is easy to register and comes with updates on software included. I ran my high end scanner and this scanner on the same vehicle and this tablet scanner picked up all of the same codes and also allowed me to email myself with the printout. I am very happy with this purchase. The seller's service was good and the item was received in very good condition. If I decide to give a scanner as a gift I will buy this one again. Thanks.

Does every thing it says it does. Some things like throttle body relearn are named differently to the effect of “idle learn resetâ€. But it does do the relearn process which is why I wanted this device. After completing, you can verify with the live data that the throttle body is “learned†as it will be stated in the data next to it.Requires some tinkering around in the software to get the hang of the interface but it’s no harder then your average smart phone so most individuals will figure it out pretty quickly.Has more features then I’ll personally ever use but I’m sure my mechanic friends will be borrowing this from me and using it more then I. Worth every penny since a throttle body relearn at the shop is normally around $200 not to mention the wait time the vehicle has to be at the shop, this came in overnight and the relearn process took less then 3 minutes.

This is such a bad product I don't know where to start. First when you first turn it on it will need to collect a bunch of personal information I'm assuming so topdon can sell it then you will spend hours updating the tool before you can even use it. It does virtually nothing that it's advertisement claims that it will do. It is simply a code reader and eraser that doesn't even see half of the modules in the vehicles. I own an automotive repair business and we have tried this on about 20 cars. The TPMS function says that all the car sensors are working properly even when there is no sensors installed. We have a Murano convertible in the shop now with convertible top module problems. My $99 Innova 5410 scanner pulled 16 codes from the convertible top module. Topdon doesn't even see that there is a convertible top module. This thing is dangerously inadequate for automotive repair use. Not to mention one of the slowest scan tools I've ever tried to use. It's even slower than my big snap on machine with the Windows operating system. I would highly suggest you look elsewhere for a functional scan tool.

Bought this since our shop has limited scanners. The cable is plenty long to use while driving, it has a lot of useful functions like Live Data, screenshot and screen recording. My favorite thing is didn't know about is access to Manufacturer TSBs. That feature alone has become valuable to me.

This obd2 scanner gives so much information. It will connect to wifi and tell you what the codes bring read mean. The touch screen works great and the battery lasts a long time. I got it to reprogram tpms sensors and it did the job perfectly!

This Topdon Artidiag500 Scanner is decent. I find it irritating that I have to charge the battery every time I use it though. Also, have not been able to use the SAS reset on some vehicles which is kind of the whole reason I bough it. Pros: I like the print a report option.

I've only had this scanner for a couple of weeks, and haven't had a chance to test all the features, but the features I've tested so far are very impressive. It gives a full health report of the vehicle's systems, reading data from multiple modules, just like the professional scanners do. It provides a lot more information than my basic handhelds can give.Updates are plentiful and free, but time will tell how well it is supported by the manufacturer in the future. For the price point, I think this is the perfect scanner for the DIY mechanic. This is positioned in the middle between the cheap handhelds, and the professional mechanic level scanners. The next level would be a bi-directional scanner, costing $1000+.

Works very well. Has lots of features that other obd2 scanners don’t. Live data is great for problem solving. It is wifi compatible so you can keep up to date.
