My roomba kept sensing a non-existent cliff. This failed sensor problem is apparently quite common, and would have been very expensive to get fixed by the manufacturer. These are a perfect replacement, and my roomba is happily working again :-)note: installation instructions would have been appreciated, though.

Like lots of other people, my i8 vacuum stopped working because it thought it detected a dropoff, even on plain flooring. I took the original detectors out and cleaned them very thoroughly, but it didn't fix it. I tried some of the cheat fixes on YouTube. Nothing worked. Obviously a manufacturing problem, but iRobot would only quote me a $150 repair. I decided to try this seller's sensor pack, and it worked perfectly. Saved me a bunch of money.

This item worked perfectly, and it actually fixed the cliff sensor error message that was blocking the Roomba from working.

This was just what I needed to resurrect my dead i8 permanently stuck with the "cliff detected" error after iRobot told me to kick rocks and that it was unrepairable. Looking at them side by side I believe they are OEM parts. You can see some scuffing on the plastic to indicate they were previously installed (I'm guessing harvested from another dead Roomba since iRobot won't sell you new parts). Deducted 1 star because these are advertised as new when they aren't.

Unplugged the bad unit, plugged the new harness in. No issues or problems, well worth the cost.
