A striking door feature. No pun intended 😀. Nice size and weight. Very fine detail. A nice addition to dressing up our door. Yes, we received silver mounting screws also. Stupid and takes away from the experience as now one must go and get brass screws. It's like they say, good help is hard to find. This makes what would have been a 5 star review a four.

The knocker itself is beautiful. The gold is more of an eye catch than black or silver. My mom noticed it from across the room before I hung it. The sound is perfect when used. Worth the money.

Pictured as is. The gold coating where everyone is talking about under the mouth is really not that bad. Mine was slightly coated which I’m still happy with. Didn’t stop me from hanging it. The lion is about the size of one’s adult hand. Shipping arrived on time.

We had a large brass lion head door knocker on our last house and really missed it when we moved. This knocker is a slightly smaller version but it has the same heavy and solid quality to it. It's a beautiful accent piece and, together with the matching kick plate, looks stunning on our black front door.
