I peeled a section from the roll and placed it on the driver’s side floor mat of our “daily driver†last month to protect the carpet from mud and/or snow. I’m impressed by how well this material continues to stay in place and hasn’t been torn or hasn’t lifted away at the corners, even though I installed it during a cold weather day at less than 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Also the carpet wasn’t cleaned or vacuumed. (Not to imply that it was trashy) I found it to be a real physical challenge to handle this product by myself due it’s overall width and weight, and the plastic didn’t tear apart easily at the perforation. So, I would suggest having a helper for handling this product. However, as a testament to how well this particular carpet film performs. Our car (unfortunately/fortunately) has been to a local garage numerous times recently, firstly for routine maintenance, and then for some unexpected repairs. I definitely like this product and will suggest it to my local auto repair shop.

This is really handy for me considering I do a lot of outdoor stuff specially when I go fishing, I always track in a lot of mud and dirt and grime when I clean my car. I try to keep it that way so having this roll of film definitely helps. It’s very sticky. It’s easy to cut into your desired shape to accommodate your car. The film is very thick and I am pretty heavy guys so I need that extra thickness to keep it from ripping the plastic film. also, after I finish washing my cars, it helps tremendously to keep them clean for sometime having this plastic film on the floorboard. I also have kids so it helps. Keep the backseat clean as well. I like to keep my tools with me at all times, and I occasionally now and then I spill a little dirt and grime. This also helps cover the back end and I have a suburban and there’s a lot to cover this film is absolutely perfect. I would definitely recommend to anyone need.

Dont use this product for anything other than stated usage. Thought that i could use it on my hardwood floor while contractors were walking thru house. The black lettering is on the sticky side and left imprints on my new floor. Had to scrub with mineral spirits to get off. Stupid engineering if you ask me to have lettering on sticky side where it leaves imprint. But i take responsibility, however beware.

I ordered this with the intention to mask off areas and flooring while painting rooms.It peels off the roll very easily and when I stopped to get scissors to cut a piece off, I saw that it has score lines about every foot so I really didn't need the scissors. Nice. I can just tear off short pieces to mask off small areas then use scissors or a blade to trim more accurately.I was doing this with the roll sitting on top of my washing machine so the cut section of film inadvertently stuck to the machine. No problem - it came right off when I pulled and left no residue behind. However, when I pulled it off, it kinda folded a bit onto itself - so a tacky side met a tacky side and I really couldn't pull the sides apart to reuse. Lesson learned, be careful when unrolling the film that a tacky side doesn't meet a tacky side or you're not likely to get it apart to use that piece.All in all, this film performs well and is perfect for my needs.

We have some factory floor mats in one car that don't really go up the side of the foot well, so there is little protection for that area during the messy winter months. I used this to stick over those areas for the winter and let the mat do the work for the flat spots. Worked like a charm. Stays stuck and keeps the mess off the carpet going up the sides. Thumbs up.

Hence, I used it at a rental unit for move-in involving movers rolling in and out. Laying the carpet film is very easy to apply though if you have any rod, using that will make it even easier rather than pushing the roll up to the extent of your arm length.The square footage is simple, just calculate length times width and voila! That's how much your film will cover. A plus is that the film will work on carpet, tile, and vinyl! There was also no residue after removal despite allowing the film to sit for over a month.
