First off, these brackets are very nicely made. High quality and seem very durable. I'm guessing they are mould injected ABS or something similar. The bad new is that I purchased them to use with some AEM gauges and was a little disappointed to see that the spacing of the tabs where the bolts screw down on are too high (for AEM gauges). I gather they work fine for Autometer gauges, though.Anyway, the good news is that I was able to buy some little M4 standoffs from McMaster (part # 93655A427) and this allowed me to use the brackets with the AEM gauges no problem.All in all, very pleased with this product and besides having to extend the screws on the AEM gauges, everything else fit the AEM gauges just perfectly. I should provide a much improved mounting solution.

These are nice and would probably be awesome on auto meter gauges. I took a gamble and got them for my Stewart Warner gauges. The posts on the back of the SW gauges are slightly offset and are shorter. After cutting the brackets in 1/2 and some minor grinding for depth they work. Overall if you have auto meter gauges these will work fantastic.

its just plastic for the back of your gauges, nothing to write home about, in the old days it was metal, I will not buy the Z series gauges any more after this

Exactly what I needed, I had two autometer gauges that came with these but I hacked up for a cheap pod then got another gauge and a different pod.

Just like the ones that come with the gauges. Glad these are connected to reduce distortion when tightening.

If you have a gauge that fits these, they are of good quality and hardware.They are way too deep for a standard Autometer oil and temp gauge
