Relay is an electrical control device that usually used in automatic control circuit.
The relay in fact is an automatic switch which uses a smaller current to control a larger current.
What's the Relay Used for
Compatible with almost all automobiles and devices equipped with a 12V DC power supply.
Like starter kills, power door lock/actuator control, change a low current output to high current, add ignition/accessory outputs,
control motors/other electronics. It is also suitable for automobile used for control, alarms, horn, headlight and more.
About the Relay Pins
Pins 85 & 86 - are used to turn 'on' the relay. You need a positive (+) and negative (-) power source to turn on the relay.
- Pin 85 - is usually negative (-)
- Pin 86 - is usually positive (+)
Pin 30 - is either a (+) or (-) source that feeds Pin 87 or Pin 87a
Pin 87 - when the relay is 'on': Pin 30 and Pin 87 are connected
Pin 87a - when the relay is 'off': Pin 30 and Pin 87a are connected
About the Wire harness
Five 14AWG wires, rated for 20A:
#Black (85) – to Ground
#White (86) – to Switch or Trigger
#Blue (30)- to Battery Positive
#Red (87a)- Normally Closed Contact
#Yellow (87) - Normally Open Contact
What's Note
* The relay is rated for 30A, while the socket 14AWG wires are not big enough for the rated 30/40 amps.
If you are intending to run 30 amps continuously, you could remove the spade contacts from the connector, carefully open the crimps
securing the wire to the contact and recrimp/solder 10 gauge wires to it. Also, you can use 6.3 mm female connectors
to connect directly to the relay pins. The relay should be good for 30 amps.

Worked as expected, would suggest adding the wire color next to the wire number in the diagrams so that you don't have to track down which color is which wire when installing. It's not a big deal at all, just an added convenience for people that don't do a lot of wiring. Great product so far. I'm using one relay to turn my light bar on and off with my high beam headlights.

Seem to be excellent quality, but I have not installed them yet. My intention iks to use one to repair low voltage situation to my Kubota tractor starter solenoid. This package contains two relays so I will always have a back up.

Bought Ulincos Auto Relay U1914 with 14AWG Wire Harness to keep my radio on after shutting off the vehicle until my door is open. These work great for that. With the supplied wire harness you don't need to add connectors to the relays. Great value for two relays with harnesses!

Used to add a pusher radiator fan to 2002 Honda odyssey. Has been working reliably. Although the pusher fan is a temporary fix until a defective high speed fan switch can be replaced, I am confident the relay would work much longer if needed. If I needed another relay I would choose this one.

Just what I was looking for to add headlight relays to my car. They come with nice plug in connectors, a pinout and wiring diagram (could use colours on the wiring diagram but it's easy to figure out with the pin numbers). They relays interlock together with tabs on the side which is nice for multiple gang installations, although you can't put one right up tight against a flat surface due to the height of the tab. Will definitely get another kit to add DRLs and a horn relay.

I purchased these relays to use in a headlight wiring modification on a vintage motorcycle. One of the relays is triggered by the ignition to power the headlight while the second is triggered by the starter button and interrupts the ignition trigger to the first. This temporarily turns off the headlight while the engine is cranked. Both the relays and their bases seem to be well made and work exactly as they should according to my circuit design. They have been installed for a week or so now and so far so good. I can't comment on their long term performance. These relays have no flyback current protection so my only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to offer a similar relay with built in flyback resistor or diode to suppress induced reverse currents.
