2019 Chevrolet Traverse V6, no autostop off button. I would give 10 stars if I could!!!I just had to replace my battery, alternator, and starter at 67,000 miles because of wear and tear from the stupid autostart!!!! BEWARE!!!! Hooray for China, what a great product, install was 5 minutes, perfect quality plugs, easy access (exposed at hood latch, CAN NOT MISS IT, ANYONE CAN INSTALL THIS AND EVERYONE SHOULD!!!).No fault codes or dash lights, and most important, NO MORE ENGINE SHUT OFF!!!!!!!! Free at last!! You will never understand until you have to replace, or have replaced these parts for a couple thousand dollars!!!!! Good luck with that!! $12.00 fix is a no brainer! Shame on GM for this nonsense with no way to turn it off. BUY AND INSTALL THIS NOW!!!!!!!!!!

Plug and play makes installation a breeze. Product works as advertised, no more auto start/stop, no codes and remote start still works. I bought this after having to replace the starter, battery, and fusible link at 60000 miles due to auto start/stop. Best money I have spent in a while. If you're vehicle has auto start/stop and no way to turn it off get the dang bypass before you have to sink significant money into repairs.

Purchased for my wife’s 2019 Chevrolet Blazer. Easy simple install and it works flawlessly. Harness is directly behind the hood latch. Pull the clip out of the plastics and disconnect the two ends and plug this right in. I used a zip tie to secure the wires and then plugged the clip back in the plastics. No dash lights and the car no longer stops at red lights and stop signs. Great value and should help increase longevity of the starter and battery.

I purchased this for my 2020 Chevy Equinox after searching the internet for a way to bypass the auto-stop function. For the record, I think that function is horrible and it drove me nuts. My search led me to a how-to video featuring this small jumper. It came relatively quickly as far as shipping, especially considering the holiday season. There were no directions included in the package, just the cable itself. Luckily I had the video to refer to as I do not have mechanical knowledge. It was an easy process.I have been using it for about a week with no issues regarding error codes, check engine lights, or problems with my remote or remote starter like some apparently have. The cable used in the how-to video I watched did come with a small wire tie to secure the wiring to the frame since the jumper makes it stick out a bit. This one did not come with that, which would be nice, so you might want to use one of those. I don't know that it's technically necessary, i just think it's a good idea. Overall, i think this was a good purchase. Relatively inexpensive, looks to be of adequate quality, works as described, and shipping was quick.

Install was easy to do. Started the car but the dash button override was still lite. Took car for a ride and it did not shut down at the stops. Light inside is on but the override harness is working. Remote start works fine

Easy 1 minute installation. There is no check engine light, remote start works as it should, and the cluster does not always show "Hood Open," and does show it correctly when you do open the hood.I used a scan tool to look at the data parameters -- the ECM thinks the hood is open, which is the Autostop Inhibit Reason. The BCM thinks the hood is closed, which is why the screen doesn't show "Hood Open" and remote start works normally.I did see some other reviewers claim it turned on the check engine light and disabled remote start -- not the case on a 2024 Trax, unsure about other vehicles.

UPDATE: Aug. 13,2024This worked well for 3 days then my check engine light came on. Received an error code P275F which was for the hood latch system. Caused an excess of power and issues with the electrical component. Had to disconnect and reset my system and then it was fine. Will not reconnect this item. Not worth it!This is a great cheap and easy way to disable the auto-stop on my 2019 Traverse but now my auto-start won’t work. Living in Florida, I use the auto start to cool my car down before getting to it in a parking lot, but since adding this item to disable the auto stop, my auto start won’t work. I am going to have to decide which feature I want most I guess.
