Review of Auto-Locking Hub Vacuum Line Tube Check Valve Fit for Ford F-150 Expedition Lincoln Navigator 2015-2020 Replace FL3Z3A788B (FL3Z3A788B) @ $16.98 at time of order.A slight clicking was heard intermittently when turning corners in my 2016 F150 XLT Sport Super Crew 4X4, with just under 85,000 miles on it. Some research led to this part/product. Apparently, this is a part that is included in some routine maintenance that one should do on their 4X4s when the mileage starts to approach 100,000 miles. The clicking is something that can alert you to the need to replace the part. This part is also known as an IWE in case you need to look up how to change it out. It is as pictured, so I did not take photographs.Likes:Fit – this was a perfect replacement for the OEM Ford part. A video I watched said that some of the replacement parts, when not purchased from the Ford dealer, might have a different colored valve. This was not the case for this part. It was identical to the OEM. The only difference was that this replacement did not have the sticker/tag affixed to it.Price – the price was very reasonable.Installation – I am NOT mechanically inclined, but this was such an easy part to replace and install. No tools are needed. The part (on F-Series trucks) is easily accessible on the firewall of the driver’s side in the engine compartment. Unplug the 3 hoses from the OEM and plug the replacements back in. There is a clip on the firewall that holds the vacuum line in place, and it is very easy to remove the line from the clip to start the process too.Performance – the part apparently works because the clicking has not been heard since.Neutral:The part is imported.Dislikes:None so far.

I had a problem with my IWE's partially engaging 4wd when in 2wd. Most of the time the issue can be traced to this check valve. It was a great price so I ordered it in case that was my issue before throwing more expensive or diag time at the problem. The part arrived quickly which was great. I installed it right away and my IWE problem was not corrected. So I went ahead and ordered new IWE actuators and installed them and a new solenoid, at that point the only other part remaining that could be the culprit would be the vacuum hoses. After I installed the IWE actuators and the solenoids my problem was still there. I was beyond annoyed. I happen to raise my hood and noticed a vacuum leak noise and whistle coming from this new hose. I checked the connection to the vacuum reservoir and it seemed to not be a very snug fit. I pulled the connection off and this hose started making a loud whistling noise which it should not be doing! After removing the part, I simulated vacuum by blowing into the line and even whistles when I do that. What the heckles????The IWE solenoid I bought (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D91YR3DL?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) luckily also came with a new check valve line, so I swapped that part from the assembly. It fit MUCH better that this MYFANDOOR part I am reviewing, and it does not whistle when vacuum is applied. Then after swapping for the linked above SMMS check valve line I gave my truck a test drive (2015 F150 XLT 4x4) and low and behold it seems that my IWE problem is now gone!So this MYFANDOOR check valve is getting a 1 star review due to not being able to hold vacuum.

I have a 2020 f150 and was having trouble with the IWEs. After much frustration and testing along with searching many forums the problem ended up being the vacuum line check valve. This item solved the problem.

I had occasional grinding noise in the front wheels, after checking a few youtubes I decided to go ahead and make the purchase. It worked great. No more grinding noise. Very much recommend this product.
